Does anyone still use Xanga? I feel like Xanga was from the 80's. Ok, so maybe the 90's. If no one still uses it, then no one will read this. If somebody, somewhere, out there still does use Xanga......... then you are truly vintage.

I completely forgot about my Xanga until last week. So anywho, since then.... lets see....

-Got a job working for a Pharmaceutical research company

-Got promoted at the job working for a Pharmaceutical research company

-Playing soccer for Push the Rock

-Helping out with Davisville Youth Group, lead a small group

-And I still have the bestest girlfriend in the world. She claims I am the bestest, but I keep telling her that I can't be the bestest if she is the bestest. Logically, I cannot be.

-The Killers may have made their way into my Top 3 Bands of All-Time(joining The Smashing Pumpkins and In Flames)

Oh yes, I renig on my statement about Xanga vs Myspace....... Myspace is still a ton better, but Myspace is also the devil. I believe they are changing its name to "LustSpace", instead Facebook takes the cookie. And thats the way the cookie crumbles

Xanga is pathetic compared to MySpace, although I don't ever blog. It's not like i'm too active here. Anyways, I don't even use either as a blogger thingy or a journal, but simply as a simple way to keep in touch with friends. It's mainly on-line address book with direct connections to your computer that updates itself. And guess what, it is doing the trick. I have found soo many people that I originally lost touch with, but have found.... no thanks to Xanga, but MySpace.

I'm also glad xanga doesn't have any censorship laws. If they do, you probably won't be seeing this blog for too long.

What you've missed....

...you missed my birthday!! I am 25 now. Thats old when you say it. I took forever to get here, but when you think that I might live to be 30, 40, 50, 75, etc.... it feels like i haven't experienced anything yet. I have soo much more life to live, Lord willing. But to think that my life on this earth is nothing compared to what eternity is like. HOLY CRAP!!! Eternity in the presence of God.....HOLY CRAP!!! I wonder if God will let me say "holy crap" in heaven?

It makes me want to make the most of everyday and every decision when considering how short life is, but i'm not going to say "carpe diem"(and by doing so, i've said it... ironic isn't it) because although the meaning is well intended it is overused and seems like no one follows through when they say it. Instead, for me atleast, i like to think about passion. Live every day with a passion. Follow through with every decision with passion. Pursue life with passion. Passion, meaning to pursue things with everything without always knowing the answer or the outcome. Means, not taking the "safe" road. I think too many people try to take the "safe" path by spending their time trying not to screw up. If you mess up because of passion, good for you. When you mess up taking the "safe" path, you have no excuse. You're going to mess up. It is inevitable. God would rather us mess up passionately than trying to control when and how we mess up. Don't worry if or when you mess up, God would love you more for trying if He could love you anymore than He already does.

Too many of us are so busy following the "safe" road and doing what we think God wants. We pray for God to open doors, yet we don't have the passion to see that God has opened countless doors already. What we really want is for God to open the door and push us through. What God wants is for us to have the passion to step foward and act without knowing the future or the outcome, and without God having to push us through. Prayer is a good thing, but don't let it be an excuse for not living. God has most likely already given you an answer, but what trust do you have if you're not willing to mess up. What faith do you have if you're not willing to live without knowing. How effective is your prayer life if you keep praying for what is already in front of you.

Please disregard that last message about the Profile tracker.... those things, although sometimes legit, can help hackers use your computer for a base of operations for things you don't want to know about. So if you did download it, delete it. Sorry.
