IMPORTANT GAMES INFO!!!

I just got this email from John Byerly....

Greetings to you all! Here is the scoop for this weekend. After quite a time of searching and trial, we have a praise and an update. Praise is that we have a location! We have had quite a time after our primary spot fell through. So, here it is. We are going to be meeting at Boerne Middle School South (located at 10 cascade caverns road in Boerne) The school is just off of I10. The Austin teams will find this to be a little more of a drive, so give yourselves time...and remember that our southern churches have driven north the last few years. :)

Because of the drive however, we are going to start the quiz at a later time.

So, here is your revised schedule:

9:00 am quiz check in opens

9:30 am coaches meeting and closing of check in 10:00 am Quiz Start Quiz should end around 11:00-11:15 am baring tie breakers Games check in will be open during quiz check in, and then will re- open at 11:00 Games will start as soon as is practicable after the quiz. Meaning that depending on the time we will have a change and snack break before beginning games. Games will begin with the Gospel presentation, and will then consist of the following brackets. 3 circles with the first place teams meeting in a 3 heat basketball playoff. The top two will advance directly to finals. The remaining 6 teams will compete in a five event playoff. The two winning teams will playoff in the basketball and the winner will advance to the finals.

We estimate that the semi-finals should be done by 1:15 and the finals by about 2:15 possibly earlier. We will have a break for food so that no team has to play all the way on an empty stomach, so bring your own, but we will not have a long lunch break...so eat light and enjoy a late lunch! We will try to get you all out early for that drive home. Well, that is the info. God bless you all and we will see you on Saturday!

Any questions, please do not hesitate to call us.

In Christ, John Byerly

So there you have it.  If you have a parent that is willing to drive please let us know.  We are going to have to change our meeting time and we will keep you posted and let you know as soon as we have it figured out.
