Well well well, I honestly have no idea why I'm still awake.....on xanga.....and watching Mona Lisa Smile (Possibly one of the lamest movies ever created).
I guess I decided to come back on this thing and...well vent I guess.
I've finished my first year at NIU...I didn't do as well as I wanted, but I didn't totally crash and burn either-so I suppose that's a relief. I ended up joining a sorority (Alpha Omicron Pi)...yeah, those of you who know me would never have pictured me in a sorority, but the girls are awesome, so I have no regrets. =o)
I've definitely built up a tolerance for alcohol-lol. My sister's favorite thing to say is "Yeah we paid $14,000 for Getting Wasted 101." Well, it's kinda true, haha. But I'm by no means an alcoholic (although some may beg to differ.
Anyway, I miss it and I can't wait to go back to school, but until then-I'll continue melting in the heat and going to Cubs games (gotta be optimistic when it comes to the Cubbies)
I'll write something of greater importance when I'm fully functioning.
