So i Thought of something pretty cool, but it didn't quite meet the qualifications for a facebook note. I haven't updated since i had hope the chiefs might do something in the playoffs besides suck. So i felt I should share the following:

Reasons Why I Should Go To Prision

by Allyson Myers.

1. I would have time to sit and read the bajillion books that I have been wanting to read.

2. I would have a set time everyday to work out.

3. I would be forced to get over my fear of sharing bathrooms, girls, and sharing bathrooms with girls.

4. I would be forced outside of my bubble.

5. My food intake would be limited.

6. I would find out how much my friends care about me.

7. I would be way more of a bamf.

8. God and I would have plenty of time to spend together.

9. I would have a break from all of my responsibilities.

10. I would have time to write letters to all of my long lost friends.

11. I think i might actually be able to pull off orange.

12. conjugal visits.

13. that was dirrty. sorry.

14. make up would not be necessary.

15. ponytails are my friend.

So it seems like the thing to do. what do you think?

Things That Rock My World:

*My bible. and my newly found way to study it.

*My Jesus. and my newly found way to study him.

*Captivating. and therefore John and Stasi Eldridge. Everyone should read this book.

*My Family. Spending the past couple of days together has been amazing. The circumstances were bad, but honestly i think that's what had to happen in order for us to get together. Rest in Peace, Grandpa.

*The most beautiful necklace I have ever seen. My biological grandpa gave it to my grandma for her birthday. She wore it to my mom's wedding, but when my mom realized she forgot the necklace she planned on wearing for the most important day in her life, my grandma gave it to her to wear. Today, my Grandma gave it to me. It has silver chain with two silver leaves. A pearl is set in the middle (i love pearls) right below a tiny diamond. It's beautiful.

*My grandma. Today she buried her second husband....exactly 15 years after her first husband died.

*My car, iPod, and transmitter. The synergy of these three have provided me with some extremely therapeutic drives home.

*Church. Just being there makes me smile. Even if i'm just hanging out.

Sorry if i've seemed poopy lately. I'm learning a lot. It just takes me a couple tries to get it right sometimes.

Thanks for your prayers.

allyson.

"In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-- kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith-- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. ... for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

1 Peter 1:3b-7, 9

this is hard.
