Ok...I'm bored and this will be my first blog since FOREVER...amazing!

I think everything happens for a reason...why it happens I have no idea and it SUCKS.  Life isn't as hard as most people make it, but damn am I over thinking right now.

Almost sure that I will be starting my graduate program in Missouri State University in January!!! Surprise! I don't think too many people know, but I will be studying elephant reproduction.  I know I know...you all are thinking back to the days when my AIM profile would always say "At the zoo!" or something animal related.  The program is a Masters and I will be working with the ONLY man in the U.S. (and one of two in the entire world) who AIs (artificially inseminates) elephants. Most people now are thinking...WTF? Well wish me luck, I hopefully will do lots of traveling and learning!

Secondly, its amazing at how NOT busy I have become.  There were days in college where I was trying to schedule time to sleep.  Now I work part time, spend my weekends wakeboarding and etc. at Lake Livingston, and reading.  WOW! Who would have thought I haven't gone crazy by now.  I think I need to pick up the pace.  Volunteering with surgeries in the repro lab will start soon, so will volunteering in a friend's dad's vet clinic, and volunteering with the cloning lab on a new cat project.  Maybe after all of that I will learn something...anything.

Well...wish me luck!
