| Gathering
What nice gathering we had! 26th anniversary! for three couples here. Started with me NOT calling back to confirm! but our girls were talking, and realized the mis understanding.....LOVELY evening! we all said, well, late....got to go....and stayed MORE! Miss Susan in pink and purple on bottom right and Yoshika, back and left were together in Haiti. That was nice to hear about, too.
all is well....but on the run........

check out, and some on to Red Reef Park......amazing coral reef.....you can actually simply swim too!

| She's HOME! Anniversary, God's Eternal Blessing....and we MAY get a July 4th YES! Yoshika came home....and all the rest.....had a good time....many varied experiences. But learning and growing.
but my phone was dead....no pictures yet. (camera in phone you know)
so...I will treat you to a red-necked seafood dinner......
 Lovely, yes? well, I guess it means WE don't have to work this weekend....not enough demand!
Looking forward....many friends.....fishing museum, picnic, fireworks, sports, surfing, fishing......sharing....talent show.....lovely. AND BOTH yoshika and Sammuel will be back!

Truer than True!
Mythos....and fairy tales are a way people have of condensing, encapsulating the essence of what they WANT to pass on to their kids.
We parents love you guys sooooo much! and we are very aware we are.....well, definitely, not enough. But we have learned SOMETHING...and we want the best for you, we want to pass it along.
So what to do?
Well, God told stories.
He also taught them songs.
When Moses pleaded to be able to go into the Promised Land....OMG, I mean Moses! Who did more than him? 
God taught him a song, to teach the people - so that they would not forget all the good things God had done for them. The settling time can be UN-settling! He still could not go in, but he was loved and the people had a chance to learn.

This lady who wrote the book I featured is like an archaeologist of fairy tales. Fairy tales are a close cousin to mythos, which can be analyzed like dreams....in reference to the collective unconscious.
Why the archaeologist you ask?  Because things have been changed over time.
But with only ONE shard.....the whole CAN be reconstructed. She does this well. Also, in this case, with the premise of a collective UNITARY unconscious....welll, the cross cultural is also helpful in ananlysis. And understanding historical context. Sometimes there are rulers who want to emphasize certain things.....and so it goes.
YET the essence, the eternal ....can be discerned.....the MESSAGE.....is usually still there....
In any case, they are really good for me! I love to tell stories, to listen to them, or view them. Now I hear of HEALING thought story telling! love it. restore the dream, the vision.
