| Start of 2008Hello my "readers"
Well it's been a couple of months since 2008 started, many things have happened such as school, my birthday, boxing, and college tennis. I think I'll just start blogging on whatever is on the groove at the moment.
School has been going well, I'm keeping myself up on top of everything as best as I can even though procrastination lurks and does its job every now and then. Life is pretty enjoyable, YA retreat just ended and I have to say it was pretty good and was much needed on my part. Tennis tryouts was kind of a drag too, I didn't really give much consideration on making the top 10 on the team until someone said something in Small Group, how opportunities don't arise due to coincidence, so I figured I would try things out and see what's up. After two weeks of tryouts and some stressful challenges, I was handed the uniform and was pretty content with what had happened. But I know there lies a real mission somewhere and I can't ignore that fact or I'm a goner in no time. We had our first match today which we won against Harford CC 7-2. Coach was pretty happy since MC Rockville hasn't defeated them in the last 3-4 years so I guess it was good to give him a beginning of season present. This upcoming weekend our team is traveling to Bel Air for an invitational which according to my teammate is going to be awesome because MC is going to pay for food and lodging while we have fun. I'm going to post up pictures and such from this upcoming weekend so another blog is soon to come. As only a few people have known, I've begun to pick up boxing as a hobby. I enjoy it, it's a good way to stay in shape and I've definitely gotten bigger titties from the workouts which I guess makes me feel more manly like the Abercrombie models. There's pretty much a difference between the terms boxing and fighting/brawling; I came to discover that after having massive lectures from the coach there. I really like hitting the sandbags, and I really like going past my limits. I think during one session my legs cramped up three times in a row. Syracuse sent me an email this past weekend about it's not being too late to apply there for the Fall semester. I was planning on applying after this upcoming Fall semester, but even though it's a mass email to everyone who has shown interest in transferring there, I'll take this as a sign and not as just something I can pass by. Only one person's timing is important and I want to follow Him. Just a simple prayer request from me is that I can follow God's plan and he'd guide me through this process rather than me planning things at what I think is best for me.
I got to get back to work so I'll update after this weekend has passed.
