| I originally wanted to make a long, thought out entry chock of of arguments and whatnots... but fuckit maybe later.
My question is: why is the world infatuated with soccer, a somewhat lower tier sport for entertainment value?
Nobody has given an intelligent response to that yet, except for one guy on a forum who noted that soccer is possibly the easiest sport for uber poor kids. All you need is a field, a ball, and some ghetto position markers. This accessibility overrides the poor watchability.
