it's almost july 2007. that will be five years on this xanga account. that's a long time. a half-decade. almost 25% of my life, which is already approaching its end given that i probably won't make it to 30.

there's a lot of stuff on this account, a lot public, a lot private. i recently went through some stuff i wrote in my senior spring of high school. the same sentiments (anticipation, optimism, depression) were there, but in a person and circumstances that were quite different.
