How advertising works in Korea.

I would have something more interesting to post about, but i dont. I would post pictures of things i do, but my life is pretty boring. But I thought id post about how advertising works in korea...

We test TV picture and audio quality from time to time at work... so pretty much while working theres a TV on next to me. I have to say thou.. the commercials are pretty interesting. After the whole bird flu thing that went on, the chicken companies all hired female singing groups to advertise. First I saw Suh In Young (from Jewelry) in a chicken commercial.. then a couple hours later i saw the Wondergirls in a commercial.. i thought, "wow, i guess snsd (girls generation) didnt get hired".. but a couple days later i saw all 9 of them in a different chicken commercial!

So how do they use female stars to advertise?... I will use tea as an example.
1) Hyori - "how does she eat all that and still look so good?" she says exercise.. but "theres something in her bag" so the ad says. (not so bad)
