this a.m i got a kids colgate and a degree anti persperant ( full sized) FREE and paid just 70 cents for my 2 salad dressings i also got a can of planters peanuts free ! great snack for the kids. i saved $10 with coupons this week, $10 last week and $12 the week before. it pays to print!!

today is my son's 8th bday and day after tomorrow is my daughter's 5th bday. next week is my other son's 3rd bday. then mine and my dh's/ whew! lotsa cakes to bake :) i used a coupon on the frosting and got it for 85 cents.

Their phone number is (800) 272-5095. Its a great buy you have to pay around $8.00 for the Wal-Mart generic formula as opposed to Enfamil or Similac (the same size can) which sell for about $25.00. well - yesterday was "eventful"

1- the microwave broke

2- dr called and said i had a secondary infection which would be quite painful if not treated immediately. so i am treating it ~smile~ pray please becuz the medicine can cause facial deformities in unborn babies- not a huge risk but still- but the drs and websites all agree if you get the infection the benefits outweigh the risks.

3-the vcr broke. we have no tv so the vcr is my children's lifeline lol

4-the computer broke. michael worked on it and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn;t so if you don't hear from me you'll know why!

5- michael got another paint job!! so he has 2 lined up after this job!

6- i walked over to cvs and got a toothpaste, a curel hand cream and a baby shampoo all for free!

7-the tire blew on the van. had to use a customer's money for supplies to buy a new one just to get home. michael will be explaining that to the customer today. pray for compassion on her part!

8- we went to the fireworks. kids loved it. 3 yr old next week jamison said "they go bam" and he hid in the car lol

9- jenny visited and brought books! sarah and i both finished 1 book yesterday ~smile~

well-in order to do the much needed blood tests i had to agree to a hospital birth :( not becuz of any problems now but becuz that is how they operate. so i did. i had the tests done but won't know the results til next week. i will see them every 2 weeks. IF the blood tests come back positive then i will have to go to dallas weekly for special ultrasounds. 3 hours away. then if those go badly andrew will need a blood transfusion while i am still pregnant.

i had to agree to lots of things i didn't want- like the rhogham shot during pg ( we are the only country that does it so ...) and the diabetes test ( which give a lot of false results due to the artificial means) but i had to agree to them for andrew's sake. i was blessed to get a midwife in the delivery room instead of a dr, unless things go badly beforehand. so i still don't know anything but i will next week.

so far it isn't looking great for andrew. they told me today he has a 30% chance of dying. i am seeing a specialist tomorrow morning. the dr i saw today can't help me anymore but she called and demanded that they see me- saying you can't give her this news and then just send her home. you WILL see her. it's another hour away from today's appointment which was an hour away- whew! i am taking some of the rent money for gas. michael can't go with me of course so i am on my own and my sense of direction is horrible. please pray .

notice chicken was on sale so i bought 2 :)

lunches will be ham sandwiches, pb and j, chili potatos, leftover ham and bean soup and leftover chicken and noodles.

michael picked up an extra painting job and will get paid more! only $100 from our rent now!!! he is on the phone talking to someone about painting her house too so pray he gets it. i also have a lead on a dr who might help me!! i'll let ya know!

i print coupons and take them to walmart and cvs. when i bought the dressing for 70 cents - wishbone- i used a $1 off coupon. i have learned to print the coupon, hit the back button and print another coupon. :)

i recently bought 2 boxes of honey bunches of oats cereal totally free becuz i printed 2 $2 off coupons and the cereal was only $1.98!

if a coupon is for $1 and i don't get a good savings on the full sized bottle, tube or whatever , then i head to the trial sized section IF THE COUPON DOESN'T STATE NO TRIAL SIZE. then the item is free usually.

walmart's coupon policy- print and take with you if need be!!

at cvs-i buy an item with coupons and get extra care bucks back (ecbs)- important- i only buy the items marked ecbs back!!! example- i bought a tube of colgate which was on sale for $1.88. i had a $2 off coupon so the item was free. it also gave me $2 ecbs back - these print on your receipt so you can see them easily- so i paid nothing but also got store dollars to spend on anything i wanted! i used those $2 in ecbs to buy bandaids which were $2 i used my $2 in ecbs so the bandaids were free. this pack of bandaids also gave $2 in ecbs back!! so again i got the bandaids for "free" using my store dollars (ecbs) and still got more ecbs back! i then combined my $2 in ecbs i had earned off the bandaids with a coupon i printed from johnsons.com site and bought the johnsons baby bath which was on sale for 2 for $5. i used my $2 in ecbs with my $2 coupon i had printed and bought the 1 large baby bath for 50 cents . so i paid 50 cents for a baby bath, a tube of toothpaste and a box of bandaids.

the ecbs deals change every week plus there is a special booklet that changes monthly too. feel free to combine all the deals involved in both sale flyers.

if you go to my other blog- on the right sidebar you will see a list of freebie sites i go to daily -actually they email them to me!- and i find great deals thru them. i also enter contests at legit sites - i have won 4!! my most recent win was an $85 necklace with all my children's initials engraved on it. :)

all my children have fifth disease and guess what- so do i!!! no big deal except it can kill my unborn baby! it causes too much water in my womb, causing his brain to swell and then heart failure for him. so, i am trying to find a dr to do a blood test (the hospital REFUSED me! said it was too routine for them!!!) and if it shows that i don't have antibodies( which my midwife in florida doesn't think i do becuz i have it now) then i need to get level 2 ultrasounds for the rest of my pg and deliver in a hospital. now the problem is- there are no obs in my area!!! none!!! medicaid even said there aren't any. they may have one an hour away but not sure if he takes medicaid plus he is out of county. so i will be busy on the phone monday morning.

pray andrew is ok.

michael got a painting job!! $400. we are still $300 short for rent but praying. join me please!!

kids are watching a little princess- rented from library for free of course!- and i am enjoying some peace and quiet. printing coupons- have you tried coupons.com ?- , entering contests- hey i have 4 so it IS possible!- and drinking coffee ( a freebie of course)

yesterday's mail brought a free magazine and another freebie that escapes me at the moment. i was able to use coupons at walmart and get a salad dressing for 70 cents, a baby lotion and hair mousse- both free, and a big savings on yogurt with coupons ( yogurt NEVER lasts around here, the kids inhale it. lol

i need to vacuum and clean out the fridge so i guess i'd better get going but wanted to stop in. :)
