A Pirate's Life for Me

    My pirate name is:

    Dread Pirate  Bonney

Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well.    Arr!

Hey Guys!

Greetings from Palau! It is soo amazing here! Temps are in the 80's everyday! Humid but definately incredible. The is definately a reason why they call this place paradise on earth. They have an interesting government which my fellow poli commer's and I have been studying some but it is hard not to get distracted by the beauty around us. The whole team on Palau came together to check out the Rock Islands on friday. It was amazing! My back is still all nice and crispy from the sun. We ended up snorkeling a lot through the islands. We saw a lot of different natural wonders. Everything from GIANT clams to barracuddas, sea snakes and the great Napoleon fish. It was amazing. There are going to be a lot of stories to tell when we get back to the states. Well I have to go my time is almost up at the internet cafe so I will see you guy in a week!

Just finished this book for a class this fall. Well, technically it is for a class it really was a book I had been wanting to read for a while. It is about St. Francis. Most people know him for his sermons to the birds. Yes, I said birds. You guys should check him out. He is a definat defense of rash vows. He was something of a wild man who would recklessly abandon anything and everything to follow the will of God. It was a pretty convicting read but one well worth it.

Hey guys I realized I hadn't updated my prayer request. Kathryn (the girl w/ the broken arms) is doing very well. They did an unobtrusive surgery (no cutting) which seems to have set the bones. She has both arms in hard casts now but other than that she is fine. Thanks for your prayers!
