Greetings from Palau! It is soo amazing here! Temps are in the 80's everyday! Humid but definately incredible. The is definately a reason why they call this place paradise on earth. They have an interesting government which my fellow poli commer's and I have been studying some but it is hard not to get distracted by the beauty around us. The whole team on Palau came together to check out the Rock Islands on friday. It was amazing! My back is still all nice and crispy from the sun. We ended up snorkeling a lot through the islands. We saw a lot of different natural wonders. Everything from GIANT clams to barracuddas, sea snakes and the great Napoleon fish. It was amazing. There are going to be a lot of stories to tell when we get back to the states. Well I have to go my time is almost up at the internet cafe so I will see you guy in a week!

Well, technically it is for a class it really was a book I had been wanting to read for a while. It is about St. Francis. Most people know him for his sermons to the birds. Yes, I said birds. You guys should check him out. He is a definat defense of rash vows. He was something of a wild man who would recklessly abandon anything and everything to follow the will of God. It was a pretty convicting read but one well worth it.

Friday, July 22, 2005

Hey guys I realized I hadn't updated my prayer request. Kathryn (the girl w/ the broken arms) is doing very well. They did an unobtrusive surgery (no cutting) which seems to have set the bones. She has both arms in hard casts now but other than that she is fine. Thanks for your prayers!

Thursday, July 07, 2005

Hey guys!

Prayer request. Some of you know I have twin cousins that I am really
close to. They are around 8 years old. Tonight one was playing on some
monkey bars and fell. She landed on her arms and broke both of them
pretty badly. It was a compound fracture in one arm and she broke
the growth plate in the other. It looks like she will have to go into
surgery tomorrow to repair and set the bones. If you could be praying
for her (kathryn) and her sister (susan) that would be great. Her
sister is fine but they are really close and I imagine she won't take
this very well. Thanks

Well You guys are finally getting me to try out this blog thing! As most of you know I AM HOME!!! It is soooo great to be back and catch up on sleep!

Life is crazy right now! Quite a few of you know that I was hoping to
go to DC this summer for an internship this summer. Bad news, it fell
through. So I'm looking for a job. so far haven't found anything but if
any of you have ideas I would love to hear them. Right now I have some
work resealing some driveways which I am actually excited about. Its
been a while since I did some really hard work outside. Plus maybe I
can build up some muscles to show off! (wishful thinking) But the job
hunt is looking up. I have two possibilities 1) working construction or
2)working in a minor league baseball stadium. You can guess which one I
want

Anywayz if you guys can be praying for me to find a job that would be incredible! I can use all the help I can get!

Well I'm out! Feedback on the blog would be awesome! This is the first time I have done one of these things!
