I've been feeling really excited about life lately. Just excited to get up in the morning and do regular old shit. It's such a good feeling. I'm so content with my little family in our little house. Texas itself is not as perfect as it could be. But we're really blessed.

I'm so proud of all of my old G-Dubbers... everyone moving on and going places and expressing themselves passionately through art. As frustrating and small world as Gardner-Webb seemed, it must have done something right.

Ed and I are talking about opening our own coffee shop when I graduate. Wouldnt that be awesome? A stage for music and theatre?

    Dream dream dream. Never stop!

I'm up writing my first paper of the semester. Due by 5:00..... only 2 pages to go......

Had my first rehearsal for my post-modern scene yesterday. It's gonna be hella-cool!

Had a root canal yesterday. it went well, but my jaw is sore. I'm so thankful to have it done though.

Morgan gets to go see the Avett Brothers in Wilmington this weekend. I cannot even begin to express how jealous I am.

Don't you hate how when you actually let yourself take a break and not do any work for a weekend, when the time is over all you do is regret it because now you have SOOOOOOOOOO much work to do now?

    Me too.

So school has started back. I think this will be a good semester. I'm directing a post modern scene from a play called Terminal in a few weeks. Should be really cool and absurd and challenging.

Been missing NC a lot..... I've started watching Avett Bros. videos on YouTube because they remind me of all of my friends from home.... I liked our style. I never take time to shop for fun emo-y stuff in thrift stores anymore...maybe I'll do that this weekend since i have monday off. :)

Ed got his cd mastered and printed. so exciting! they're $5 if anybody wants one! :) You can actually buy it from his myspace.

So a story: I've been having a lot of trouble with a tooth I had a new filling put in earlier this summer. Like Ibuprofen every 5 hours everyday for like 3 or 4 weeks... notsagood. I was trying to hold off on another visit until our dental insurance became effective in October but it's gotten too terrible to stand. so the dentist wants to charge me $2,000 and says i need a root canal and a crown. ugh. then a friend recommended this awesome guy who just opened up his own practice who is gonna do it for $600. so awesome. still not cheap, but it gets better.... the same evening after all of this has gone on, Ed gets a call from his aunt who is going to send him his birthday check early..... and guess how much she's going to send?
So cool how God works stuff out.
