3 musketeers

I think everyone know about 3 musketeers. The story is so famous, has been filmed many times. The most famous is the 1993 disney version, who is starring Charlie Sheen, Keifer Sutherland, and Chris O'Donnell.

What I will write down in this weblog is not about the plot of the film. But the 3 musketeers here are referred to 3 talented singer, which song I love very much. The uniqueness of 3 musketeers here is the fact that the 3 of them are coming from 3 different country. Another fact from this 3 musketeers that all of them are female. They all have great talent to become a world-class singer. What a strong female they are.

I just listen to all their song, got to knew them all in a detail way, started in this year. Let me tell a little story about each of them in this weblog.

The first one, Rachel Kar, or her chinese name is 贾立怡 (jia li yi), is the talented 27 years old female singer come from mainland China. So far, Rachel has done so great, she had release 3 album, one of them is the compilation album of the best song she has released before plus several new song in it. The characteristic of Rachel is the piano sound that is fantasticly played by her. Her vocal also improved alot since her first album. For me, her song is very inspiring, motivating, especially the way she playing piano. The latest hits of her is 8808. This song has a meaning about a couple in love that promised to meet each other again in the date 8808 (8 August 2008), which is the date of Olympic that will be held in China. Not also her talent is wonderful, she is also a beautiful woman.

The second one, Alena, or her real name is Caroline Gunawan, is the surprisingly 27 years old talented and beautiful singer from Indonesia. The uniqueness of Alena from another Indonesian female singer is because of the fact that she can sing Mandarin song at the best quality. Not also lovely to be heard, her song is also perfectly pronounced in every single word. In her latest album 'Seindah Diriku', the hit single 'Lavender' made it to the top of Mandarin radio chart in Global FM, the most known Mandarin radio station in Surabaya. This song has a meaning about the power of love that can't be erased until the end of time. The video clip of this song show us the story about one old grandpa that really love his family so that he work hard everyday for his family. She became famous for her talent since she won the first place award for Asia Bagus competition in Malaysia in 2000.

The third one, Sara Gazarek, is the most anticipating 25 years old female jazz singer from USA that made a superb performance in the Java Jazz Festival 2008 in Jakarta, Indonesia. Sara had just released a second album 'Return to You' last year. This second album has several nice slow jazz song like 'Let's Try This Again', catchy jazz tunes in the song 'Carey', and remake song like 'Halleluyah'. Her first album 'Yours' was released in 2005, had made it to the top 10 in Billboard Traditional Jazz Chart. The song that I like the most from her first album is the song call 'Blackbird'. That song is a combination of the catchy jazz piano tunes and great rhythm and also the best vocal ever.

So, what is the conclusion of this 3 musketeers? Only one conclusion, that today, young female singer show a lot talent. This 3 musketeers here is show their talent to the world, a very simple but unique thing we can found this day, because another female singer that we know the most is not show their talent as the first and the most important priorities over all, another female singer that we knew these day wants to become famous first although they are not talented at all.

From this weblog we can take another lesson. This 3 musketeers show us how to become a person that push their self to the limit, show all their talent, not to be known, not to become famous, but because of the love to their fans, to the work they done so far. 3 musketeers that is really inspired me when I 'found' them this year.

对不对 chord & lyric

This is my second weblog. Another song & lyric from Rachel Kar. This song is my favourite one. I listen to it almost ten times everyday. I search for the chord by myself. Some chord in some part of this song is really difficult to find, hopefully it's not reduce the quality when you try to play this song with guitar. Enjoy!!!
PS : I've received a reply message by Rachel Kar herself. She was surprise that she has a fan from Indonesia. Yes, that's true, I'm her first fan from Indonesia. I'm so proud about it! For Rachel, if you read my weblog, this weblog is dedicated to you.
