I am also finding joy in reading and spending awesome time with some of the greatest friends in the world! I've also found a new interest in playing ultimate frisbee! It's great fun! :)

| Look at how cute my little cousins are!!! I love these kids soo very much--We have Caroline on the left--she's about to turn 3 and Cameron on the right--he's almost 7 months maybe?? But they are the sweetest kids--can't you tell??! Then that's their parents and two of my very favorite cousins--that's Corey and Christina--they are wonderful wonderful people! Corey is a pastor down in Louisville, Ky...they just got a new church and a new house--I'm so excited for them--the Lord sure does use their talent in a mighty way!! I just wanted you to see some of my family 
Today was a long day at work but I have tomorrow off! yay!! We are short a full time person so I picked up almost 40 hours this week and 30 the next...but it will be good money before I go back to school--cuz after that I definitely don't want more than 20 hrs! I'd like to keep it around 15--I think that's a good amount for having 18 hrs at school!! I think this quarter is going to be a lot of reading--but I'm ready--I want to do well this quarter!
I talked to Kendra today--she said everything is going well--everybody is moved in and they are ready to get to a normal schedule--they start school wednesday--up at good ol' Grace College. I just love that girl! The Lord has blessed me through her so much! Alright--I think I'm gonna go rent me a movie and kick back and relax! Love ya'll!!! Have a good one | | |
| Hey all!! Well--I've been home for about a week and have gotten kind of back into the swing of things :) I do say that when we got in it was really chilly at night--56 degrees! I almost refused to get out of the van  oh well--it's good to be home and hanging out with you all again! It was sad but good last Saturday--not yesterday but the one before that--I went over to Kendra's to spend time with her before she left on Sunday--left around 4 that morning to come home and it was a really kind of sad drive home--i just prayed for her so much and I still do--it's just always hard to have her leave. We decided that it's a bittersweet situation--b/c while I would love to have her here all the time with me--or she'd like me there with her--I am so excited to see how the Lord uses her! He already has used her in a mighty way and I'm excited to see where He takes her this year! And we're still the best of friends--if not better--but I do miss her  BUT!! I still have so many wonderful friends here that I love and care for so much!! The greatest friends for that matter!! I love you all! Paris might be coming in this weekend!! wahoo!!!!! I love that girl! She's a trip I tell ya!
But anyhoo--please continue to pray for me--the Lord is molding my heart in dealing with relationships. It's good--but it is very hard at some moments. But you know what's awesome?! I think He's been changing things in my life and my relationships for a reason. Last Sunday as we were in worship service and the praise band and congregation were singing--I just stood there and thought about the grace of our Lord. I thought about the verse that says "My grace is sufficient for thee." As I stood there, not being able to help the tears--I just cried out to the Lord and thanked Him that no matter what happens in this life--whoever He puts in and takes out of my life--as long as I have HIM--that is all I need! I can't tell you I've ever realized it like I did this past Sunday--or as Carol said this morning--we hear things a lot but sometimes we just find a new joy in what we've heard. I have found my joy in the Lord when it comes to relationships/friendships...b/c that is where His grace is! How amazing......
I'll leave you on that note--this weekend was awesome! Aly--we loved having you here! and Celeste--I loved the troll story! Meghan I miss you!! Kelli--I'm so glad we got some time together--sorry i've missed ya--thanks for calling yesterday to see if I would ride with you (dumb work!  ) and Amp--I just love you to pieces--thanks for getting me out in the rain!! Happy early b-day! I hope to come eat with ya tuesday for lunch if you don't have plans with your dad or anybody :) Sav it's great having you home--Erika--I loved talking with you the other night--I'm prayin for ya....Leah we have to play nerTs!! Cassie--I miss you at work! and welcome to God's family!!!!!!!!!! ahhha!!! we love you!! | HEYYYYYY!!!! I'm Home!!! Aren't you excited?! We headed home a day early--we were supposed to leave Saturday morning but huricaine Charlie was expected to hit before we were going to leave--so we came on home today...well we got in about 4 this morning--we were no joke stuck in traffic for 2 hours in Ashville, North Carolina--it was terrible!! but oh well--we made it home safe and before the storm--it was headed right to where we were staying--they even issued an evacuation of Myrtle Beach right around the time we left! Craziness!! I'm praying for those is Florida--it hit hard and the weather just said it's gathering more strength as it heads to the Carolinas--it was already a catagory 4 out of 5 possible! Man...Hurricaine Bonnie came Thursday night and left crazy amounts of rain and wind--it was a tropical depression more than a hurricaine by the time it got to us but I'm just so thankful!!
Anyhoo--I had a wonderful, wonderful time laying out on the beach--it was perfect weather all week long! It was 80's and 90's during the day and just beautifully sunny!!! And at night the low was mid 70's!! I loved it--there's a new pic of me with my tan from last night--well Thursday night--I didn't do too bad hehe--I would have loved to lay out a little more though I have to admit! We went to the Carolina Opry--I absolutely love that show!! And did some shopping and saw the most amazing fireworks--wow!
But most importantly--I had a lot of time to just think and pray and bask in the warmth of our Lord--I prayed for you all and missed you all like c-razy!! But I had a great time with my sisters and my rents hehe--I've never called them that before. hmm--interesting...we'll all have to catch up though....the Lord is definitely working and I'm so thankful for that--even when you have to get down to the hard stuff--but it's all so worth it! Just pray for me please!
Alright--I'm not sure if I'm gonna go lay down or what--I'm not really tired--I slept for a few hours before we got home...we'll see what happens though! But I'm anxious to see all of you--call me if you're gettin together tonight--or I'll just see you Sunday mornin!! Love ya'll---sounds like you guys had a good week by your entries!! Yay!!! | | |
| - Hey!! My family is just about ready to leave--we've gotten the van all packed and our pillows ready (mine and my sisters!) and are probably going to head out around one so we get there right around check in! My dad always makes fun of me b/c I usually sleep the whole way there--but it's nice b/c when I wake up I can smell the ocean!! So I've noticed that when everyone mentions not getting comments they get bunches!! haha--are we all like that??  hehe--we anxiously always check to see if anyone has written us?? Hmmm.....
