"While pursuing femininity, I have found more strength, especially in character, than I ever did in pursuing feminism."

“I’d long since learned that no difference in viewpoint should ever be allowed to cause the least break in love. Indeed, it cannot, if it is real love. True, Margaret and Neil had wandered far afield from my faith. But relationships can be kept intact without compromising one’s own beliefs. And if we do not keep them intact, but give up and allow the chasm, we’re breaking the second greatest commandment.” Miss Alice, Christy by Catherine Marshall

In a wealthy home, some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

Grace Like Rain

My Dear Readers (if you still exist),

I was just reminiscing over some memories. Looking back at some of my old posts, I can see how much I've grown over the past few years. I'm glad for it. And I know that where I am now is just another step to where I'm going. I'm glad for that too. I still feel like a baby in some ways. I look back and think to myself, "My, was a just wasting time back then? Am I now?" Truth is, we can always be doing more.

I am so glad that God has bothered with me. No, I mean it. Who in the world am I that He should love me and wish to use me for His purpose? I am but a fool who wishes to be wise; a simpleton who yearns for knowledge and understanding. I've got so far to go.

"hallelujah, grace like rain
falling down, down on me."

I'm so excited about this new season in my life. I'm curious to see how God is going to use me. The Bible says that God's strength is made perfect in my weakness... well I'm pretty weak, so God will have a lot of room to work.

Sweet dreams, my friends.

What an Adventure

How amazing my life has been these past couple of months. Mom, Dad, and my younger brother have all moved to Guam as missionaries. I, however, am still in the states at least until this next summer.

I am so incredibly excited about all that God is doing in my life and the life of my family, and I am ecstatic about the new TeenPact season!

Well, even  though facebook has really taken over my internet life, I'll try to keep you posted here on xanga
