| Bittersweet moments.
I got accepted to teach at the SMOE program (public schools at Seoul, Korea) for one full year. I'll definitely miss certain aspects of America but I think this is a much needed "vacation." I've always saw myself as an independent person and finally I'll be able to prove it to myself.
Things I know I'll already miss:
College Park - Although it wasn't considered the highlight of my life, it was definitely one of the places where I grew as a person. I'll definitely miss the football/basketball games, KCM and AASU.
Church - Great people, my second family. I'm planning to head back when I finish my year at Korea.
City Wings - This was what I was craving when I was at Korea 4 years ago. Korean chicken tastes different and I don't really like it.
Driving - Although the high gas prices is something I will not miss, it does feels good to go on the highway when the day/night is nice.
And most of all, my friends.
Speaking of friends, they always want the best for you. Things make a lot of sense right now and I'm sort of upset that I had to find out this late. True colors can be ugly.

| Things that I miss: Smelling a cologne that I like for the first time - Hugo Boss comes to my mind since it was my first cologne. Carvel ice cream cake - Probably my favorite dessert. Who doesn't like the crunchy chocolate pieces? Going to the airport - Hawaii comes to mind. Mmhmmm Leeheemoi candy. A new song that I can jam to all day long In & Out Road trips - Walt Disney high school trips. Just the whole experience and almost meeting Jennifer Love Hewitt who was the "Alba" of the 90's. Senior year of high school - The nights/early mornings at Denny's. Being able to see everyone on a consistent basis. When the Terps were actually good at basketball - What happen when I enrolled at CP? Camden Yards - Always fun to go and it would help if the Orioles were in contention for the playoffs.

| I usually go to the track around 8pm when I run and today's weather was perfect, in the low 80's with the sun setting. The track is also walking distance from my home. Just one problem, I do not like running. Although I've been running more and more often, it does not feel like it gets any easier than the day before. Perhaps I should be more consistent with my miles but even if it gets any easier, I do not think I'll ever enjoy it.
I rather play sports. Sports > Running.
They need to get a basketball court around here and I need to make some friends at Stafford to play with. Since I am lonely, I really want to go to Korea now. Hopefully everything will work out which I'm not sure it will. Since I graduated in the summer, my diploma comes in the end of September. The problem is the teaching position in Korea requires a copy of my diploma or a letter from the school stating that I graduated. So I went to the ECON department and found out they were renovating the building. I was given a e-mail address of the person who could write me a letter and that person has yet to reply. Stupid school... not helping me even though I e-mailed the person twice.
If I don;'t go to Korea, wow I'm going to be dead. Boredom = death.

| I have never witness a car accident till today and it was not a normal one if there are normal crashes. So I was going down to Annandale with Joe to help Esther's family move stuff and like usual, there was traffic so I was driving extremely slow. Because I was driving at .02mph, I somehow caught a 16 wheeler crashing onto a railing above a bridge that I was about to bypass. I don't know how it caught my eye since there was no sound... it seems odd to me even now that it happened in mute. Anyway, as it was crashing onto the railing, it eventually overturned and all it's packages came down the hill onto 495 where I was. I could see all the beer bottles on the hill and I went over one as well.
For some reason I was ecstatic to see a car accident (16 wheeler did not disappoint) since I always wanted to see one while I was driving. I don't know why, it was one of my weird things that I wanted to see for no particular reason. So Joe called 911 right after and sadly I did not have the same instinct to call for help since I was sort of amused to see that accident. Hopefully the driver is fine... Good thing the truck did not fall off the bridge cause there were cars right underneath it. It would have been like a Jurassic Park with the T-Rex stomping on the cars. The cars would have no chance of surviving and I would have been right in front of it to see it all. Funny how I can relate this to a movie.
Oh btw, do not ever buy a piano.

| I officially moved out of my apartment. Bitter sweet? I didn't really feel any of it. I was in a numb state that was similar to the feeling I had when I graduated after taking summer session I.
I gave away Prince to a friend since I did not want to take care of 4 betta fish at VA. For anyone who do not know about bettas, they are the Chinese fighting fish. Since Prince was the only male, it made it easier for me to take care of Grace, Princess, and Rain since they are all females and females are supposedly compatible to live together. They fight each other and it's funny to see their strategy or the lack-of. Princess, who is weakest one, uses her brain to compete as the alpha female. While Grace and Rain fight each other, Princess waits patiently to fight until they're both heavily damaged. I can see their damages but it's not serious enough for me to separate them. In the end, none of the fish becomes dominate fish.
What to do in VA? I play with my cousin's dog Oreo. He's a puppy who likes to lick and scratch and bite. I rough him up often to the point that he tries to softly bite my hands whenever he sees them. I play with him so often that I begin to smell like him... I don't like this smell.
