Hey, it's kind of nice to be here again; to take this moment to update.  Then again, it's still true that "Adamae" is dwindling in its usefulness.  Honestly this probably never served much purpose at all, but this is more apparent of late, in that we've had no time to notice our computer, let alone our weblog.  Most likely this was always the case for our so-called readers.

For said reasons this won't give much insight into our goings-on.  To sum it up, we've been caught in routine.  Melissa has less energy lately because the baby is getting heavier to carry around and harder to keep "quiet" (he seems to hold a lot of parties in that little space of his, with much wiggling and kicking involved).  Still, she keeps her students going and her husband besides.  Speaking of him, he's stretched fairly tight between work and school--particularly Latin, which is his best and worst class.  When they named it "accelerated," they weren't joking.  But he's enjoying everything, despite having little time outside this and homework.  Occasionally one of us will pine for the other's attention, not being used to competition, and such moments together are naturally precious.  Video games?  TV shows?  Eating out?  Well, they're not entirely out, but they've fallen into their places, which is probably as it should be.

But we did manage to catch the opening of American Idol.

PS: Andrew came up with the name "Eden" for the baby (possibly spelled "Edan") and Melissa's not budging.  So hey, if you want to cast your vote, let us know where you stand on "Lindon Lamont" vs. "Eden Kincaid."  Of course, your opinions will make absolutely no difference, and when it comes right down to it, neither will Andrew's...or so he's been informed.
