  • The Fun Continues...............

My went to visit our puppy yesterday.  He took her mama with him.  They had a grand visit.  Still no sign of the kennel/cage.  It is reported to be in Salt Lake City at the moment.  Supposed to be here tomorrow.  hmmmm.... we will see.

The pet hospital says that my Pudgie is not willing to stand up at all.  She has put so much weight on the other leg that it is now in the same shape as the other was before surgery. .    We had hoped to have enough time for her to recover from surgery one before surgery two came along.  Now what????   We are waiting for the Dr. to call us back with info/options.

    Hold good thoughts!

  • My Sunshineman is a Genius - he must get it from his Mama

    Allow me to explain

    Today was a wonderful day

Picked the little man up from Auntie J., my girl was at work and Auntie J. watched him while I went to the Dr.

I asked the little man what we should do today - lunch at the pizza place with the games and rides, sandwiches and the park, or maybe the mall with the play area.

His choice: "I want to go to your house Nana"   "We can hang out"

We had grilled cheese sandwiches with tortilla chips, and popsicles for dessert.

We watched Oliver and Company, and pretended we were asleep. We laughed and tussled about.

He "cooked" an interesting dish of tortilla chips, pepper, and pasta - which he let "boil" for at least an hour before serving it.

When Baba came home we let him "wake" us up and they played for awhile.

My girl called and headed over.  We had talked about going out to dinner, but she was happy to stay in and have a yummy Mom made dinner.    I of course made enough to send leftovers home.

We drove the little man home, following my girl to take some things to their house.

On the way we passed the Christmas tree lot.  Sunshine told us how he is going to go with us to get our tree.  He told us that when he sees the best one he will say "Baba, come here please - this is the best tree!" And then we will put it in our car and take it to our house and put lights on it and he will help, because he is so big.

We dropped their things off and left their new home, where they are safe and warm.

It was a great day.  A family at home just being together. Not running about, just "hanging out".

    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Other good news today: According to my Dr., I have lost 12 lbs.  Whoo Hoo!
