| new log, havent been here in a while. time to take about PETA and veggies
Recently, I stumbled into the PETA website and watched one of their movies that promotes their vegetarian lifestyle and why humans should only consume non-animal products. They say things that eating meat gives you heart disease. No shit, it does. The whole idea is to eat a proper amount of meat, and with exercise you can remove and LDL cholesterol, which causes many types of circulatory problems such as hypertension, heart attacks, etc. But I thought for a second about how us humans are biologically made. Our teeth for example include a set of canines, teeth that are more suitable for slicing meat than mashing plants. Another thing I looked at was how meat tastes. The reason why salt and sugar taste so good to you and I is simply because as cavemen, finding such things was difficult, and when we did, our bodies evolved so that it would taste good to us, thus we would eat more of them when we found them. To most omnivores such as myself enjoy the taste of meat. We like it because meat is rich in protein and amino acids and our body wants those things in us. Things like roman lettuce lack a strong taste because they lack nutrients so our bodies never evolved so that roman lettuce would taste good. Which brings me to my second point, obtaining those pesky 9 essential amino acids. Histidine, Isoleucine, Leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan, Valine are the 9 that every living human being must consume in order to function properly. The tricky two are Lysine and Trytophan, which are not found in high amounts in many plants. So vegetarians must go out of their way in order to eat enough beans, soy, or what have you to obtain the essential amounts of these amino acids. While a single piece of lean 8 oz steak will carry all of them as well as essential fatty acids and many other compounds useful in the development and growth of the human muscular system. So biologically, humans can and somewhat have been programmed to eat meat. As cavemen we have been known to eat meat, but now we have vegetarians. The reason for this is in my opinion our development of morality. We know that killing is not something that is right, and I agree. But we are not killing without a cause. We intend to eat those animals that are slaughtered. PETA argues that they feel pain and they are fearful. Sure they are fearful, its biologically inbred in them that if they feel threatened that they will run. But bottom line: they are fucking stupid animals. You can keep them in a slaughterhouse, and they aren’t nervous. Their concept of fear is totally different from ours because we have preconceived notions of death and we know when we are in for it far before death is staring us in the eyes. They will eat their grain, shit, sleep and be animals. They won’t know any better. And for us might does make right. It’s the way nature works. Predator kills the prey and we eat it. If one doesn’t want to do it that’s fine, but they shouldn’t condone others for their eating habits. I like to eat meat. I eat a health amount and also eat a health amount of vegetables. If I want a fucking piece of steak, I’m going to eat a piece of steak. And you can have you tofu steak, which probably tastes like the ground it came out of. Overall, I don’t care what you eat or how you eat it; just don’t condone my eating habits because you like cows. I eat meat because biologically I’m programmed to run from eating it. And so I shall.

| RIP "Dimebag" Darrell Abbot for solos that were too fast to be interesting, for songs about Cowsboys that came from Hell and for having a nickname with absolutely no connotation to what you do during you free time. |
