| Bored and remembered this placeYaY I'm in college now, and it's unbelievably like, um, school. >.> Seems I'm going for a degree in Psychology and a minor in Japanese. Coming back to TN for xmas, actually I'm flying on xmas day. But I'll be there around 2pm! I've updated the site a little bit, mostly just the song for now. Seems Im always like this, I'll keep posting awhile, then go away for a long time, then come back and post awhile; it just keeps repeating! こんにちは ゜ まもなくわたしはうちへかえります ゜ Tennessee's still home to me. ぢゃまた | | |
| Blah! Sorry for not updating in awhile, I've been babysitting my niece, Cheyenne, since May 29th. It's been fun but exhausting. I'm watching Shrek 2 with her atm lol
Just got on to see a few things while I have the chance. Hope everyone's been having a fun summer so far. Leave me a comment telling me about it. Or something similar.
P.S. Someone needs to get me a limo-carriage. 2 hourses, long roomy carriage. I'll love you forever! | | |
| Ok, yeah, Prozac Nation scared me through a lot of the book. I didn't know what depression is actually like, despite joking around about being a depressive myself. So many moments in her life literally shocked me, as this book is a memoir. So it's a true story of her life. During the last chapter, I was actually crying. Not laying of the floor bawling, but just softly crying. It was a good ending, I guess I cried because I was happy for her. And then in the epilogue, she mentions some frightning facts. Such as, in 1994, a study was took because there was such an increase in people who took Prozac, and 50% of the doctors would declare someone clinically depressed, after talking to the patient after only 3 minutes!!!! I was horrified when I read that! So many people now take Prozac, and I honestly think a good amount of them don't need it. Hell, a lot of doctor's will even give an 8-year-old Ritalin! Anyway, it was the best book I've read in a long, long time. And some of what she said in the epilogue and afterword, I actually agreed with and thought before ever finding out about this book. I just didn't realize how bad it's all gotten. | | |
| I just finished this book. It scared me. Everyone. Read this book. Serious. Now. Bye.
P.S. - And it's late, so I'll update tomorrow.
DAMN IT - The pic xanga has is one after the movie with Cristina Ricci. Here's the book I have:

| Will you love me any less if I hurt you any more?haha Jack Off Jill is funny.
Meh, not much been happening lately. I've had my license, now I just need a car and a job, which are harder to get. "No Work Experience" - Fuck you. I'm going to apply to the new Subway in the mall in the next couple days, whenever I can get out.
This Monday my mom is going back to TN for 4-5 days. Mainly to get my niece Cheyenne and bring her out here for a few weeks. Sucks I can't go, but tickets aren't cheap. I'll be looking more into how/when I'm going to visit in July. I have to make it to my friend's wedding, missing that would just be absolutely horrible.
After my mom gets back, I'll be calling ISU to find out everything there is to know about housing. I'd like a single, but since I'm a freshman I don't know if I can get one. Plus, I need to find out other facilities, food, pricing, payments, and whether I can get internet (I'm pretty sure I can).
Read some more in Prozac Nation earlier, amazing book. Very sad though, sometimes I want to just cry. If you've seen Requiem for a Dream, in my opinion this book is worse. One of my friends described watching Requiem for a Dream as "It's so sick and depressing you just want to kill yourself." I love the movie, but then I'm just wierd.
Well, I'll leave everyone with lyrics from the song I'm listening to right now. (The CD is a mix, mostly Acid Bath with some Type O Negative and Teddy threw in a Jack Off Jill song for fun. hahaha)
Hey Pete
Hey Peter, where you going with that axe in your hand Hey Peter, where you going with that axe in your hand
I'm gonna kill my lady cause I caught her screwing around with some other men I'm gonna kill my lady cause I caught her fucking around with some other men

Last night I killed my lady cause I caught her screwing around with every guy in town Last night I killed my lady cause I caught her screwing around all over this town
