| life couldn't be more boring than this. still studying for my massage boards...have no job, almost all of my friends are pregnant or just had babies...there's 3 of us left that haven't had children... LOL and they're all getting pregnant in two's. there's one due in November and one in December...and the newest is due in March or April. Sure is getting expensive buying for baby showers!
I need a job bad. I've been jobless for one year. As soon as I take my test and HOPEFULLY pass, I can get a job and move out of here. Maybe out of state. That would be nice
I've got nothing to do today...i really should get to the gym or ride the bike or something...

| today i feel pretty blah...nothing too exciting has been going on... *sigh*
i'm planning a trip to St. Louis next Friday to see one of my best friends...staying with her and her husband and their little girl. we're going to tour the beer factory and we're coloring eachother's hair on Saturday. how exciting i'm a natural blonde...and i'm going almost totally dark again...but not quite black. i love it...i'm staying thru wednesday...it'll be nice to just chill out outside of my home for once and with a friend i never get to see...plus, i get to see the 2 yr old...thats my favorite part.
worked out at the gym at 7 yesterday am...didn't go today...maybe i'll go for a walk after i donate plasma tonight.
time to get scootin...gotta do lots of laundry later and pack my bags early for my trip. | | |
| My Aunt Janine died from her cancer April 12th of this year...Her funeral was unlike any I have heard of or been to. It was truly a celebration of her life!! She was a wonderful woman...
Emotional yes, filled with sadness? No, not at all. We know where she is...up in Heaven with the Lord, and Grandpa K.
Our entire family came...cousins I have not seen in years, cousins I'd never met, and on top of that, THEY even had children...holy cow was it hard to keep everyone straight.
Had a wonderful time with my family...stayed at a beautiful hotel on the lake...scenery was magnificent, ate some pretty awesome food...although i'm pretty sure i gained a few pounds...not used to eating like that!!!
Back to the diet i go...back to the gym and riding the bike...and water water water...
God Bless You All | | |
| So, i completely forgot i had this live journal...
life's been pretty boring since my last entry...
the babyshower was a hit! lots of food, awesome chocolate cake, and an icecream punch to die for. i got a new dog yesterday...i thought my cat could use a new friend...although, he's not too fond of the dog yet...the dog sure likes the cat...
giving the dog a bath was a chore...no doggy shampoo so i opted for the Aussie extra-conditioning shampoo. he sure smells nice though... blonde lab, he's around 4 years old, i got him from a shelter. he's very mannered, already knowing how to sit and stay.
time to take a nap...exhausting day.

| Ok...its only been a matter of hours since my last entry, but i already feel so much better since i got a good nights rest. Had a wake up call from one of my best friends...soon after that, i got a visit from my brother's girlfriend. **yay**
we watched another report on CNN about my cousin Jeanna Giese, who is the only known survivor of Rabies w/out the vaccination.
She was infected with rabies by a bat bite, but they thought nothing of it and simply washed her cut. One month later, she started having blurred vision, weakness and could not play in her games at school. Doctors said it was too late for a vaccination and the only thing left to do was to induce a coma to save her brain and let her antibodies fight off the infection.
It worked! Praise the Lord! What a miracle! She is now going through hours of therapy a day, has a tutor and finally was able to go back to school! What an emotional rollercoaster this has been for her and the family, but this goes to show that the Lord works in mysterious ways!!!
....
I put together my babyshower gifts...tomorrow i go to my college and send in my transcripts so i can get ready to take my state boards for Massage Therapy. This is the step in my life that is the hardest and scariest. The beginning of something new.
*sigh* time to scoot and get some things done.
