GOD IS GOOD!!

Hey, this is Jen breaking into Edwin's xanga, because you all need an update about all the incredibly awesome things God is doing in his life right now!!

God is good:

*He has allowed Edwin to be involved in two Bible studies starting this week!  Not only that, but one of them is the same study that our college group is doing here at home, a study on the Song of Solomon by Tommy Nelson!  Praise God for allowing Edwin and I to be on the same page about some things before we get married!!

*His hours are changing from the day shift (7am to 7pm) to the night shift (7pm to 7am)!  This is good because he now gets to work on the sweeper most of the time, which is much more relaxed.  Plus, he gets to call us late at night now instead of in the middle of the day, which is better so that we don't have to worry about missing his call or anything during the day!! 

*He gets the great pleasure of playing CONGOS in the church band there!  God is doing some amazing things in that service.  It has doubled in size from 25 people to about 50 in the few weeks Edwin has been there!!  Praise God for more people coming to church, and hopefully getting saved!

*Edwin has had the opportunity to talk to a couple of chaplains on the base there who have been giving him super good guidance and advice as we are praying about whether Edwin will become a chaplain one day too!  It would be so awesome, but we definitely want what God wants!!! 

*He got to call me (JEN) TWICE today!!!    Sorry, but that's cool for me!

*God has allowed us to start getting furniture for our new home!  This is a big blessing, because then we won't have to spend as much money on all of this when he gets home!  Now, we pretty much just need a kitchen table and chairs and our bedroom furniture!  That's basically it, and I am liking that mucho.

Thank you all SOOOO super mucho for all of your prayers and support!  There's only about three months left, unless God sends him back here early!! lol we'll see.    We love you all so much and pray for you everyday!

HEY GUYS AND GIRLS! I JUST WANTED TO LET YA'LL KNOW THAT I'M DOING GREAT OVER HERE IN IRAQ AND THAT GOD TRULY HAS ME UNDER HIS GRACE AND PROTECTION!!! I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME NOW, BUT I WILL TRY TO UPDATE MORE LATER ON WHAT'S GOING ON WITH ME OVER HERE!

Hi everybody! It's been forever since I've updated anything! LOL I have just been totally too busy preparing for soo many things coming my way! Im getting married in less than 171 days!!! Im also leaving for Iraq in 6 days!  Man, soo much stuff so fast! I KNOW GOD IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING THOUGH!!

PASSION 06 was such an amazing conference!  God taught me soo much about trusting Him even with the little stuff!! Especially since I'm leaving and there's going to be soo much going on while I'm away, especially wedding-type things! LOL I wish I could be here to help my beautiful fiance out, but I know The Lord God Almighty knows everything and He doesn't do anything without purpose! Those women and men need God in Iraq too and it is my responsibility to share the good news to others too! GOD IS AWESOME!!! Please be praying that I may get witnessing opportunities and encouragement opportunities to help those people in need of a Savior, which is Jesus Christ Our Lord!!  

I'm gonna miss everybody SOOOO much, but I know God will provide me with strength from His Word as I plan to spend lots of time in The Word over there! I pray that God may teach me more about His Word while I'm away and that I may not only focus on the military mission that I'm sent there to do, but that I may focus on the "HOLY" (LOL) mission that God has set me up with!  But seriously, that is my prayer that God may be glorified through my actions and my choices over there of spreading the LOVE OF GOD and what He has done for me!

I THANK GOD FOR A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY THAT IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME! I THANK GOD FOR A BEAUTIFUL MOTHER AND FATHER THAT ALWAYS LOOK OUT FOR ME AND GIVE ME SUCH GOOD ADVICE! THANK YOU MAMA AND PAPA FOR HELPING ME WITH EVERYTHING WHILE I'M AWAY!  THANK YOU GOD SO MUCH FOR THEM, I LOVE THEM AND APPRECIATE THEM TO THE MAXIMUM LEVEL!  

 I THANK GOD FOR MY BEAUTIFUL FIANCE AND PRAYER WARRIOR THAT IS STAYING HERE AT HOME FINISHING UP THE WEDDING PLANS AND JUST BEING A SUPER ENCOURAGEMENT TO ME! I LOOOVE HER SOO MUCH!! I THANK YOU SOO MUCH FOR BEING A MINISTER TO ME THROUGH ALL OF YOUR ACTIONS AND THE WAY YOU OBEY GOD AND HIS WORD! IT'S JUST SOO AWESOME TO HAVE A TRUE WOMAN OF GOD IN MY LIFE AND TO KNOW THAT I'M GONNA BE SPENDING THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH HER!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO FOR ME JEN, IT MEANS THE WORLD TO ME!!   I CAN'T THANK GOD ENOUGH FOR HER! GOD HAS SOOO BLESSED ME WITH HER AND I ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU PEOPLE OUT THERE TO TRUST IN THE LORD AS I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO AND HE WILL TRULY GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEARTS WHEN YOU LISTEN AND ARE OBEDIENT TO HIS WORD AND WHAT HE HAS TO SAY! (I FIGURED THAT I WOULD THROW IN A LIL BIT OF ADVICE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT!) LOL

I WANNA THANK MY ABUNDANT LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH PEEPS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS THAT YOU GUYS GIVE ME AND ALL THE WONDERFUL FUN TIMES THAT WE HAVE HAD TOGETHER ALL THESE PAST YEARS!! I LOVE YOU GUYS SOO MUCH TOO AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THE BEEEEEEEST FRIENDS I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! YOU GUYS ARE SO REAL ABOUT EVERYTHING AND I LOOVE YOUR FRIENDSHIPS! I'M STILL ALIVE!!!!!!!  IT HAS BEEN SOOOOO LONG SINCE I'VE UPDATED ON THIS WHOLE XANGA WORLD CRAZZINESS!!!!  HAHAHA, I HOPE I DON'T OFFEND SOME OF YOU XANGA LOVERS!  LOL  

I HAVE TRULY BEEN BUSY LATELY DOING ALOT OF TESTING FOR MY PROMOTIONS IN THE AIR FORCE!  GOD HAS BEEN SOO AWESOME!  HE HAS BLESSED ME SOO MUCH IN GIVING ME WISDOM TO PASS ALL OF THESE CHALLENGING TESTS!! I TOOK AT TOTAL OF FIVE TESTS AND MY AVERAGE WAS 94%! I'M DONE WITH MY FIRST SET!!! WOOHOO!!  BUT I STILL HAVE A SECOND SET WHICH INCLUDES 5 MORE TESTS!  BUT THOSE SHOULD BE A LITTLE EASIER!  BUT I'M STILL TRUSTING THE LORD TO TAKE CARE OF ME!   

THE LORD HAS BEEN DOING/SHOWING ALOT OF STUFF IN MY LIFE LATELY!!  I WISH I HAD THE TIME TO WRITE IT ALL OUT, BUT I REALLY DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME RIGHT NOW FOR ALL THIS XANGA FUN!!!!  MAYBE WHEN I GET DONE WITH ALL OF MY TESTS AND STUFF I WILL HAVE A LIL MORE TIME TO UPDATE MORE OFTEN AND TO COMMENT YA'LL MORE OFTEN AS WELL!  I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN HOLLERIN' OUT AT MY PEEPS HERE ON XANGA, BUT I HAVE BEEN READING YA'LLS COMMENTS AND THEY ARE VERY SWEET AND ENCOURAGING!!!  I LOVE YOU ALL!!!  WELL, HERE ARE SOME PICS FOR YOUR OWN ENTERTAINMENT!!
