| This past Friday was my dear sis's wedding. Long day, just took off half a day from work. It was pouring in the morning then it stopped around noon time. Have to say, the rain stopped pretty much on time since I left the office in the afternoon. Then headed directly out to the wedding place to pick up my dress and that took like an hr or so. I found a pretty one, it's blue with some flowers all over it. I'll post some pics when i get a chance and have the pics. Afterwards was the makeup. The lady curled some of my hair but not all, it didn't look so nice. So i told another lady to fix it up. There were quite a handful of us getting ready. That took most of the afternoon.
Wedding officially started at around 7PM. Some people showed up really early at 5:30..unbelievable. There were 2 maid of honors but I did a lot of the job but it's alright. Dinner started at a little past 7:30. Didn't have a lot of games, just the basic ones.
My sis wedding was alright but I doubt i'll have a wedding when i get married. It seems like you go through all the trouble for nothing. |

| Believe it or not, it’s almost August and that means no more nice warm days. Then after a while it’s gonna be dark and cold. I hate it when it gets cold. I rather have the heat. |

| Took the whole wk off last wk .. & guess where i was for most of it - at Atlantic City. I won then won a bit almost every day & night until like 3 days then i lost & lost.. sad wasn't it..but overall I won so that's still good.
Today I didn't go in to work as well - got jury service. I forgot about it until i got back so I had to call in to my supervisor. I'm sure he wasn't so glad about it cuz I notify them pretty late of my one wk trip & today..
Luckily jury service was for one day only and that means I'll be able to head back to work tomorrow.
(About the premiere - I only took a couple of pics & it's kinda blurry so i didn't scan it in. While we didn't exactly go inside to see the premiere - we stayed outside right next to the red carpet.) |

| This past thrusday went to Star of the Worlds premiere in NYC.. Took pics but turned out pretty crappy.. The one we took w/Dakota - i blinked.. The one with Tom Cruise..it was blurry cuz the flash was not turned on... but well i guess at least we took them & got signatures as well.. In the beginning we didn't want anything but a free t-shirt who knows we would have went further.. right, sis? |
