| WOW! What a fun night I had...
Tonight was the launch of the Middle Tennessee Pictage User Group (PUG) at Scarritt-Bennett Center in downtown Nashville. I was happy to host 8 other Pictage photographers in various stages of business...some shooting for 15+ years and others who have barely been operating for a week! Thank you for braving the rain to be a part of the group. Everyone was really interested in getting to know each other and hearing what everyone is doing in their own business.
We began by introducing ourselves to the group. Then we moved into our Studio Spotlight section. Since I am the leader of the group, my studio was in the spotlight tonight. I brought samples of albums, proof books, linen-covered books, prints, etc. I also brought samples of my packaging materials like custom printed gift bags with coordinating tissue, boxes, stickers, ribbons, etc. and that was a big hit. I shared a slideshow of images during our meeting as well and highlighted the ShowIt software that I use to make slideshows (that I usually post here on the blog).
We were pleased that Jennifer Bishop was able to join us from the West Coast on behalf of Pictage. She got our first meeting started and let us know what things Pictage would be providing to our group. We got to hear about the new products that are coming out...major overhaul of the consumer interface, new album colors. Jennifer also opened things up for us to give suggestions and ask questions. Thank you so much for being with us tonight Jennifer.
We headed over to Panera Bread for a late dinner/snack and more visiting. Everyone who attended the meeting came and we got to talk a little more in depth. Nathan Holritz (from Chattanooga) and I have big plans to get the Middle Tennessee and Chattanooga PUG's together for some Tennessee PUG action.
I could go on and on, but really I just want to share that I am so pumped up about all of the positives that came out of this meeting. I feel like I have 9 new friends!

Yesterday I had fun doing my first 3 month session with Jonah & Becca. I was fortunate enough to photograph Jonah's Birth Story in late October. Proofs will be available online soon!
| Congratulations to one-year old Talley, who will be coming over in the next few weeks to play with the tutus for a FREE session. Her mommy, Miriam, was the first to respond to my free session offer.
Today Emily and Geoff came over for a maternity session. Emily is very beautiful. You can't tell from this photo because it's in black & white, but she has great blue/green eyes. You would hardly know she is pregnant unless you see her belly...she is carrying their son with much grace.

| It is so fun for me to watch babies grow up right before your eyes. Today Taz brought his Mom & Dad over to do some photos of him as a newborn. He is four weeks old today!

Isn't he precious? Truly a blessing from God, in my opinion.
On another note, I got these precious tutus in today that would be perfect for little girls to come prance around in. One is orange & pink and the other is red & pink...great for Valentine's portraits. For the first person to email or call and book a tutu session for your little princess (age 4 & under), I will give you a Free Session Fee! What a deal.
