I LOVE the smell of crayons!   (Seriously!  Open a box...it HAS to be Crayola brand...and breathe deep...I think it must be a happy association...you know taking me back to a happy place...:) ...Try it...let me know...)

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me...twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved.................................................

How can grace and fear co-habitate?  I'm thinking about what grace can teach us...Christ's perfect grace...for us His very-not-perfect children...it truly is sweet!  How should we respond to that grace...to Him?  How can we NOT respond?

Color for today:  Sunrise pink     Wow!  I am so glad that I was up and out to see the gorgeous pink clouds in the sky as the sun came up this morning...THAT is what I would like today to be colored with...its a happy color and somehow there's hope in that orange-y pink...

And kinda along those same lines...have you ever noticed that the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises are ones that include clouds...hmmm...not that a clear, blue sky isn't beautiful, but I wonder about the clouds...is it how the light reflects off the clouds at that time of day that creates that vibrant color?  I'm not sure since I'm no scientist (and I suppose I could find out if I did some research, but...)  Then I wonder if our lives aren't a little like that...maybe as His light reflects off the clouds of our days/lives, there is incredible color (and life!) there...do we see it?  Rise and Shine!  :)
