Bewarned, if you end up coming over to my house I will make you sit down and watch Supernatural with me. I find the show incredibly awesome. I've watched the first episode 6 times in the last 2 weeks, so me getting sick of it is not going to save you. ;)
To get an idea of how far my obsession goes, I spent 80+ dollars on ordering the first 2 seasons from amazon (not like I waited for the mail though, I simultaneously torrented the episodes). I spent 25 dollars on the Supernatural wall calendar, but it was a necessary purchase! I needed a calendar, what with it being January and all. I've also bought 3 Supernatural books. I've finished 2 and now I'm waiting for the other one to show up because it's back ordered. And I'm saving up to spend another hundred or so on more stuff, like keychains, bookmarks, and jewelery. Not to mention, I have never before put a human (anime/manga or otherwise) as the background for my computer, until now. Now, I have Dean as my background. And there is much rejoicing. Yeha, like you can't tell Dean is my favorite character.
To any of you who have not seen it, I highly recommend you checking it out. It airs on Thursdays at 9 on the CW. And there's a brand new episode next Thursday. Take that writers strike! Yeah, I actually care about the writers strike now because Dawn O. (some big shot exec) is an idiot and might use the writers strike as an opportunity to get rid of Supernatural. The horror!
Now for some actual meat about the show. It's about two brothers who hunt down and kill supernatural baddies. Yeah, that's about it. Except, they're brothers and there's this highly moving family dynamic that is totally a chick thing because I have cried during some of the things that happens to the family. For instance, I cried during the episode, What is and What Should Never Be (season 2 episode 20, I think).
When it's not doing tearjerker crap, (which is rare but does happen) there's action. You know bombs, sneaking into government facilities, running from the cops, credit card scams, gun fights, digging up corpses, home made flame throwers, performing an exorcism on the copilot of a plane (while flying no less), and well lots of other stuff. Let's not forget breaking and entering, killing the shapeshifter that looks like you (and killed people while wearing your face), dodging the federal agent on your tail, getting arrested to go kill some ghost killing inmates in a prison, and phew, I've got to take a breath.
Moving on, the boys are brothers, and as those of you with siblings know, there's going to be... incidents. There was an entire episode in which the boys try to get one up on each other (there was also lots of action and fire). And well, while the boys do this they are hilarious. I don't believe I go an episode without at least one chuckle. Sometimes more than one. For instance in the first episode, this cops come up to Dean (my favorite, and the funny one) and say, "Fake Federal Marshalls, fake credit cards, is there anything about you that's real?" To which Dean replies, "My boots," big ass grin. Then the cops slams him down and arrests his ass. It may not be the funniest scene, but it's one of my favorites because I've done something similar.
I was... detained... my a police officer once, he cuffed me, put me in the back of the car (no seatbelt by the way, isn't that like illegal?), he then asked me if I had any weapons (shouldn't he have, you know, asked me that before cuffing me and putting me in the back of the car? Or maybe checked, instead of relaying on my truthfulness?). Anyway, he asked if I had any weapons, and I said, very sarcastically, "I have a soda bottle and a call phone." Maybe not very funny, but you see the connection between the two events, so you can understand why I like that scene.
Once again moving, I played the Supernatural drinking game, round 2. I only watched the first round.
Well, anyway, I went to check out round two. Before I watched it I got the bright (yeah, right) idea to actually play the game. So I go downstairs and fix myself up a nice big glass of grape juice, orange soda, cranapple juice, and topped it off with about 2 shots of vodka. Then I go upstairs and begin this stupid idea, I start watching, and I have to pause the video because I can't swallow as fast as the clips are showing up (no stupid comments about swallowing please). I end up drinking the entire glass before the clip is over, so I ended up drinking 2 shots of vodka in less than 3 minutes. Holy crap! I was very drunk, so I just curled up and went to bed.
I now know to avoid vodka, in any amount. I had a minor hangover in the morning but nothing too bad. Which kinda makes me rethink my goal of getting a real hangover. I have a very valid reason for trying to get a handover, I want to find my limit in the safety of my own home, so I know my limit and can say no when I'm out with friends and such. And so I scare myself away from drinking because you know how teenagers are, they have this invincibility complex. Yeah, hopefully that makes sense.
Okay, now that I'm done making a fool of myself I will see you all later.
I felt like doing a post about me, to show where I am in life, in case people were interested.
Well, I'm eighteen and I'm going to be turning nineteen on October 29. Speaking of which, I invite Stephen, Josh, and Robert to my birthday party on October 26, which is a Friday. I'll know more about the times later, it's going to be an all afternoon sort of thing.
I am a Wiccan in training. I'm being taught by a 2nd degree something or other high priestess. I'm really excited about it, and it's the first time I've really been or done anything with religion.
I'm currently attending HCC; I'm majoring in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Secondary Education Specialization Mathematics. I hope to teach high school eventually. I want to teach advanced math, computer programming, and Japanese. I am also substitute teaching in Cecil County in order to pay for college and my hobbies.
I really really like video games. My favorites are RPGs, Farming Sims, and Real Time Strategy. So my favorite series of games are: The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Tales of ..., and Harvest Moon. Games that don't fall into those series Odin's Sphere, Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, and Outpost 2.
I also like to do lots of crafty and artsy stuff. You've probably seen some of my art but I also like to do stamping, making cards, scrapbooking, clay modeling, painting, drawing, and beading.
There's a bunch of other stuff about me but that's it for now.
Here's a video with one of my favorite songs.

Currently Listening Year By Maddy Prior 4 - Red and Green see related
I did it! I finally completed the Witch Princess picture I was drawing for Stephen. I'm so happy! It feels good to complete something. Especially something I was working on for a while. : S Well anyway, here is the Witch Princess from Harvest Moon DS.
I think it turned out pretty good. Now I just need to learn how to do backgrounds. Okay, not learn, just stop being too lazy to do a background. Ehh, I look at it and I see so many errors, and I think, "Damn it. I should fix those." But, I'm just happy to be done.
This picture is dedicated to Stephen.
Yeah, okay, even with the errors I think it's awesome.
I was going along, using my new tablet that I got from my dad. Well it's actually his but he never uses it so it's mine indefinitely. I was working on the Witch Princess picture that I drew for Stephen. I drew way back when, when he was still tutoring. Well I had always planned on coloring it but it was really freakin' difficult. But now I have a tablet! Hahaha! Now I totally doing a whole bunch of work on it. Coloring it and stuff.
As I'm working I'm also listen to music. In particular Bad Touch by whoever. (No that's not the bands name) I'm listening and I get totally inspired. Like insperation stuck. I'm serious with that struck part. Inspiration just struck a home run and the baseball hit my face, then inspiration tied me up and dragged me off to start working on a completely different picture.
And so I began drawing Gray from Harvest Moon. I started drawing him today at around ten in the morning then I just recently finished up. (I spent a good part of the afternoon squeezing 300 tomatoes. We were making tomato sauce to last the winter. We ended up with about 20 jars of homemade fresh tomato sauce. For whatever reason I don't think we're going to use that much but whatever. Wah, I still have 400 tomatoes to work on tomorrow.)
So, with out further ado here is Gray looking damn smexy. (Can you tell he's my favorite bachelor in Harvest Moon?)
I unfortunately didn't have any references so I think it might not match entirely. I think Gray might wear an orangish colored coverall not green. But damn if he don't look good in green! I think it is my best anime work to date. I used an entirely deferent coloring style then I was using before (with the WP) and man, I just want to scrap the WP picture and start over. :(
So Stephen I'm so sorry I got so totally distracted and engrossed in something else. I'm still working on the WP picture.
