So my recital is this Saturday at 6 pm in Petree.  I'm playing the Grieg Violin Sonata in C minor, the first two movements of the Bach Double Violin Concerto, and Midnight on the Water (a small fiddle piece).  Everyone is more than welcome and obviously you should all come, because according to my sister Ariel (you know, the cute one that I'm always carrying around after orchestra concerts)...I play better than Itzhak Perlman.  Hah!  Take that Perlman....seriously though, my recital, Saturday, you should be there and then go on to enjoy your spring break :)

I'm updating while I'm at work...shhhhh, don't tell my dad.  Only an hour and 15ish minutes till I get to go to lunch and Christmas shopping (fun and hopefully fun).  The last few days have been days at home..aka, my family is wonderful but they're driving me crazy!  So anyways, all is something here...I'm not really sure what the word is right now.  I'm normally a huge Christmas person, but this year I just can't seem to get into it as much.  Maybe I'm just having an off year or maybe it has to do with being sick right now (finally getting better too, yay!).  Anyways I better get back to work before I get caught.  I'm thinking of all my wonderful OKC and Dallas friends.  Love you all!!!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Yes it has been over a month since I last wrote, but, like everyone else...I was freaking BUSY!!  lol, but it's all over now.  No more classes for the next few weeks (no more Modern Jewish Thought!!!!!).  I've gotten eight hours of sleep two nights in a row.  I have really, really, really, really, yummy Thumbprint cookies from Ingrid's in my fridge right now and I'm playing in Justin's recital today. :)...So all in all I'm pretty happy right now.  I'm looking forward to going home for a couple weeks and just relaxing.  Well, that's the idea at least.  I don't think there will be too much relaxing up at work, but that's what happens when you work for your dad, lol.  I'm going to miss all of my friends here in OKC, but I can't wait to see my Dallas friends either.  There had better be lots of Mao playing at home :).  Anyways, I'm gonna go now.  Time to get ready for Justin's recital.  Have a wonderful break everyone!

So today probably counts as the coolest day of the school year so far....I got to see the music building.  It is the most awesomest, coolest, mind bogglingness ever!!! (words made up for effect)  I am so freaking excited about this building!  So many practices rooms and so big.  I'm telling you, we're all gonna need maps and walkie talkies to navigate our way around that building or we'll all be lost.  It's possible that someone might walk into the building and we won't see them for the rest of the year.  There's gonna be sooooooo much natural light too (which makes me incredibly happy because I'm sick of being stuck in 310 and 311 for classes).  Yeah this school is going to be everything we dreamed of and more.  On that happy note, I'm gonna bask in the wonderful thoughts I have of the music school and go hang out with the coolest little sister ever!  Have a good weekend everyone!

"The Cheat is grounded...we installed that light switch for you so you could turn the lights on and off.  Not so you could hold light switch raves".....I think maybe I need to hold a light switch rave.  Oh fun stuff that is old Strongbad emails.  In a rather strange mood tonight.  That's probably because I had dinner with lots of fun people.  Stacy, your boyfriend Dewey seems like a really nice guy.  I'm really glad that you two are together.  To all the people I went to dinner with (Toni, Lauren, Matt, Christy, Stacy, Dewey), you all are the coolest.  I love hanging out with all of you because you make me laugh.  Ok, that was my shoutout for the evening.  Off to burninate a few peasants and thatch roof cottages (aka do some homework).  Have a pleasant evening everyone.  Gute nacht ya'll!
