| Galatians 5:16 "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. for the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please." I think that people and even sadly the church putts too much emphasis on the "things" the we can and can't do. With all the rules to follow concerning sin, and with all the works "required" of a Christian. But I think that if we were just residing in the Holy spirit and had an intimate friendship with Him all those things will come naturally. Laws and rules were given to us for a reason but if we are in Christ then we are no longer under the Law.. "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law" verse 8. This can be misinterpreted but i think you know what it's talking about. Well these are prolly all "duh" thoughts to all of you. But hey i'm still i new christian... i can still me astounded by stuff like this !!! lol Well have a wonderful week! | | |
