wow. Its been a while....
things are pretty much the same....Catie is doing better. She's not nearly as scared as she was the last time I updated. thank you all for you prayers! She has reached a new level of life and is now very quiet. She doesn't really talk unless she is talked to. She used to just make noise and sing and talk constantly but she's just quiet now. She doesn't do too much on her own. Like, sitting in a chair, or walking to a room or pulling up her britches stuff like that. we have to do it for her otherwise she'll just stand there humming to herself. She's not angry though, just quiet and we're so happy for that! She's pretty much just peaceful. She did throw a fit today though because she wants to go ice skating with her class at school. They are going to put skates on her, and keep her in her chair with the foot rest up so that her feet are on the ice. Hopefully that will please her. lol.

Annie is good. She had a great christmas!!! She got a bike and began riding it for the first time ever. she loves it!!!! Her eyes aren't working very good....they sure are going fast!!! she was trying to look at me today, and you would have thought she was looking the opposite direction. but she's adjusting well. She's doing great! She's a blast to be with.

Kerri is doing good....excited about softball. she's got another month until practices start... She's got all her gear and everything. yay!!! can't wait to go to her games! Its funny. We've gone out shopping and stuff more than ever lately and we are completely opposite about EVERYTHING, but we're having a blast!! Its been great.....She's cool...

Amy is now 10!!! I can't believe it! She had an awesome birthday/Christmas. She was completely spoiled....  She's been doing really good....kinda having a hard time with annie....just ya know, finding everything for annie, explaining everything to her just cuz annie either can't see something or doesn't comprehend it. Its like watching me and catie all over again. She's great though! she never stops helping her baby sister.....

so yeah, the girls are all doing awesome!!! I'm so excited to see how they grow this year. I am a little nervous about catie though. but it'll be good.... Another year full of new experiences! never a dull moment...hee hee

this whole thing started with catie tuesday morning. its now thursday night, and she's the same. She's had some very scary moments. She's still afraid of the window, but a little better because Uncle John aka Doc Phil put up a "shield" around the windows for her. I love Uncle John. She is still taking meds to calm her down, but it doesn't take the edge off. She's so scared. We took her out today to see how she would do, and she was still scared, but she did okay.

Kerri has been great through this whole thing. She's gotten her sisters up in the morning, got them started on school. She's been doing Annies school with her, helping make lunch, stuff like that. I'm very proud of her. She's starting to realize that she's old enough to be the "big Sister." i think she really likes it.

Amy has been a big help too. Tonight she just started doing dishes. All of them. She didn't complain, she just stood there in the kitchen singing with her sweet little voice as the stack of cups and plates disapeared. She's very sensitive, and it really bothers her tha catie is so scared and she's very good about making sure catie gets a back rub or a hug.

Annie...lol. She's oblivious. She has been really lovey lately. I mean, just hug after hug and kiss after kiss all day. and "kelly can we play a game?" "Kelly can I sleep with you?" Its sweet. but yeah, Catie isn't bothering her at all.

Pray for Catie. She needs peace right now. Pray that this fear will go away. Pray for Kerri and Amy. They need strength to get their little bodies through each and every day physically and emotionally.

catie has only slept for 1 1/2 hours today. the tranquilizers didn't work, so we got a diff med. we're going to give it to her before bed to see if it helps her sleep. She's still having these weird delusions. who knows, we're prob just in a new stage of her life.

Catie JUST fell asleep. Mom got her tranquilizers, and they're so strong! one pill would knock the average person off their feet in no time. It took Catie 2 pills, and two hours later, she's finally dosing off. She's a tough cookie. We're still not sure if we're going to sac. It depends on how things are when she wakes up.

Keep praying for Catie. her body has got to be going nuts right now, and of coarse she doesn't understand. just keep praying.
