Weekend was fun.....had a girls night Friday night, then slept in on Saturday. So nice!

Went horseback riding Sunday afternoon with Jaron, Sharon, Elyssa, and Heather. So much fun!!! I love riding horses!! Except I am really sore right now! But, it was great! We got to ride in a huge field and just run with the horses....great fun! I'm ready to go again!

Last night, went to church then went to eat at CiCi's and then went home and watched the new "Pride and Prejudice" with Keira Knightley.....it was sooo goood! I loved it! And may I just say that the guy who plays the ever quiet, yet passionate Mr. Darcy is extremely attractive!!! And has the bluest eyes I have ever seen! But, I definitely recommend it!

It's so good to have friends that you can lean on, and count on to help you up when you fall. Because sometimes, in your darkest hours, you just need a shoulder to cry on.

BREAKDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YeS!!! BD is tonight! Totally excited for that! I love going....and now, I have a few friends from school that are coming, and that makes it even more exciting!

For those of you who are reading this, and you live in Springfield,Mo and don't go to BBC, I'll explain......BreakDown is just a night for Christian students to come together under one roof and praise and worship our Lord and Creator followed by a short devotion. It's very casual and relaxed, no pressure and no worries! The best part of all is that unlike Campus Crusade and other Christian groups at colleges, BD is open to anyone and everyone!!!!! It doesn't matter where you go to college, or even if you do go to college! If you just want to come and have a fun, relaxing time of worshipping our Savior and glorifying Him, then I encourage you to come!!! You won't regret it!  

Again, it's held at the BBC campus, and it starts at 11 and goes til whenever...usually til about 12:30 or 1 am! BreakDown only happens once a month--the first Thursday of every month. We have a flippin awesome band that plays, complete with drums, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, and acoustic guitars...and of course, the singers! There is usually a short devotion as mentioned before, but most of the night involves just singing, praying, and praising God! Hope to see you there!

Happy Hump Day!

Well, tis Wednesday...middle of the week! Thank goodness! And, it's gorgeous outside!! It was gorgeous yesterday and today is supposed to break record highs!! Too bad I have to be stuck inside at work!

The wedding was absolutely beautiful!! Missy is finally married......Josh's dad performed the ceremony and he had just about everyone in tears!! It was very moving and touching. The reception was beautiful too.....the best thing there: a chocolate fountain!!! NO, I am not lying! It was wonderful!!!! And then, guess who caught the bouquet when she threw it? That's right...ME!!!!! yay! My first ever bouquet to catch! haha....Guess I'd better find a man soon!

This week has been going much better than last week. I was just feeling somewhat discouraged and sad about things, but it's okay now. I realize that I do have close,special friends that love me, and I just want to say that I love them too! I am so thankful for you all. It's hard sometimes to actually find such great,Christian friends that you can relate to and just be goofy and fun with! So, to my very special, close friends: I love you all and thank you so much for being there for me,encouraging me when I need it.

So, I have found a new musical lover!! hah....jk! But, I do absolutely love James Blunt!!! I bought his cd yesterday and fell in love! Here is a song from the cd...perhaps you've heard it.....it's great!
