| So today is the day! My big sister Sarah is going to be coming and picking me up late this afternoon, and all of my stuff (which all of it hopefully will all fit into her car! So this time tomorrow I'll be on my way back to GL!! Yesterday I walked to babysitting, which is a really long way! Basically from the John Hancock building past Solider Field!! (for all of you non-chicago-er's ... that's a really long walk!) But it was so nice outside and so I decided a perfect day for a walk!! It was so great! It took me only an hour and fifteen minutes to get there!! Then when I got to their place I took Sophie for a two hour walk! ... so yes, it was for sure worth it even though I have a huge blister on the bottom of my foot now!   I wish I had just a few more days here with nothing to do, there is so much to do here in the city and it's be fun just to have a few days to walk everywhere! But I'm really excited to go home to GL too!! After I'm all done unpacking one of the first things I'm going to do is go swimming in my newly relined swimming pool!!! So if ya'll want to go swimming, come on over!  Well I think I'm gonna head back out to the city one last time for the year, perhaps get a Mother's Day gift (it's on Sunday if you didn't know!) | It is Finished!! ... the Semester is at a close, now just waiting until Friday to move out!  It's one of those bittersweet things. Oh, but I might work at Family Video in GL, which is really exciting to me, I know that it sounds really lame, but I am for real excited! I have an interview all lined up! Yea! Good stuff! | I'm almost done with my paper!! Praise The Lord!! I just have about one more page or so to go! Then I'm all done with the paper, and then I'll have to start studying for four finals! AHHHH! But it'll all be okay! I have a hunch (maybe a little bit of a unrealistic hope?) that I'll pass my classes this semester!  So we'll see what happens! Tomorrow i get to go to the Korean Market with some guys from school! So that's exciting! I have wanted to go for such a long time! Now I get to go again! Yea!  Today i got to go out to lunch with my Korean friends Jin and Ji-Young! They are so much fun! I love them! They are going to come and visit me for a weekend this summer, so if you're gonna be in GL this summer ya'll are gonna have to meet them! We went to Big Bowl which was fun and good food! Then for dinner I got to go out with some people from my church for a teacher appreciatation dinner at Uncle Julio's which is really good Mexican food. It was the last time I am going to be able to hang out with those people from NCPC until August!! Crazy! I'm gonna miss my kids so much! They for real are the cutest ever! I'm tired, I need to finish my paper! So I'm going to quit writing this post! Till next time - run after Christ and seek His ways for all that you do. | | |
