Outside our garage, my new old car in foreground (*blisters with pride*), our old old 'burban in the background (it's about 25 now, moved us here all the way from ID back in the day), and behind that, the chicken house and one of the shipping containers/the backyard/field.
Came home again yesterday so my dad could continue the tune-up work, and also to have him look at the modem in my computer, which apparently got fried while I was gone *last* week, because we had thunderstorms and I left the dialup plugged into the wall... *headdesk*. It's a good thing he's checking out the brakes now, because they were apparently almost worn thin, and a handful of parts on each wheel need replacing... ouch... there goes another $250... we knew they were a little funky last week, and they started making nasty noises driving around this week... let's just say it's rather providential that I didn't burst into flames coming home yesterday!
I'm not sure if he'll get the oil leak fixed before I go back or not... I hope so, I'm dumping a lot of oil into the thing. :-/
I feel like crap today, and I hate always coming home to worrying about stuff I have to do for work. There's really nothing I have to worry about, nothing at all, but I can't get my head out of that gear. Takes me a day and a half, and then I get thrown right back into it. Gah!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid well-paying easy-going job that just don't suit me... sigh.
I'm grateful, I promise. Just don't feel good.
