Signs in the Sky VIII
Something's going on up there. I was tipped off to it this morning at Yahoo! News. Here's a link to and a bit from the article I found:
Eclipse prompts meditation at Egypt's pyramids http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060329/sc_nm/eclipse_egypt_pyramids_dc Knowing the prominence of the sun in ancient Egyptian religion, researchers visiting the site said it was exciting to witness the eclipse at the pyramids, which some archaeologists have said may have been aligned to the stars.
Wilkins, a researcher of ancient myths and legends, said he had been waiting 18 years for the event since finding a stone artifact at nearby pyramids depicting an eclipse in the area thousands of years ago. "I didn't know what would happen ... There are so many unanswered questions. You never know, maybe the pyramids will open up and aliens will come out of them," he said with a smile.
"I don't know about the special energy stuff but one way or another its a spiritual thing to be here for the eclipse," said Herve L'Hermitte, a French engineer visiting the pyramids for the first time.
You all (by now) know that I get a kick out of these alien watchers and energy chaser-type people, who are standing on their heads in front of the Sphynx trying to tune in a friendly vibration... but I *am* a firm believer in "the heavens declare the glory of God"... and so I headed straight over to the Biblical Astronomy site I frequent, to find out about this eclipse. I found out way more than I expected to... it seems today's eclipse wasn't the only one this month... and that both of the two are highly unique in some very interesting ways. Let's look at the lunar eclipse, first:
On March 14/15, 2006, there will be a penumbral lunar eclipse that will be visible (to those with a trained eye) from Europe and Africa as well as Israel. A penumbral eclipse is when the light (very light) outer shadow (penumbra) of the earth covers the moon. ...The moon is ... just inside the border of Virgo and Leo. This is a somewhat unique position for the moon to be in during the eclipse. It is at or very near this point where the prophecy concerning the Messiah begins and ends. His birth in the beginning portrayed by Bethulah (Virgo) and the final destruction of the serpent or dragon and the serpent’s seed (Rev. 22:10-15) portrayed by the Sign Arieh (Leo).
Well, that's interesting, now isn't it? An eclipse of the sun (Son) right in the middle of prophecy. Wha. And about the eclipse that happened today?
On March 29, 2006 there will be a total eclipse of the Sun in a path that starts in easternmost Brazil and continues across parts of northern Africa, Turkey, and central Asia. All of Europe as well as Israel will have a partial eclipse. ...the position of the sun and the moon in the constellation Pisces at the peak of the eclipse as seen from Jerusalem. The constellation Pisces represents the nation of Israel, particularly when Israel is either going into bondage or captivity, or when Israel is coming out of bondage or captivity.
...The timing of this eclipse is unique, though I have not yet done the research (will take days) to see how rare it is that a solar eclipse seen from Jerusalem occurs on the eve of the first day of the New Year. Some facts to consider on such a rarity are that a solar eclipse always occurs on the eve of the first day of the month on the Hebrew or Biblical Calendar. During the solar lunar cycle, such an eclipse to occur on the eve of the first day of the first month of the New Year on the Biblical calendar can occur about every 19 years, but does not necessarily do so. But for its path to be on or near Jerusalem is another matter. My educated guess is that this occurs about every two to five centuries, but my guess could be off. This could also be a one in two thousand or five thousand year event. On March 29, the sun...is up for a total of 12 hours and 21 minutes.
Now, I ((anna, here)) don't know much, but I know a few things. Like today is also the day Hamas is officially being enstated as Palestinian government. Palestine being the people trying to exterminate the Jews and take over Jerusalem. And it's the day after Israel's election, too. Irony? I don't think so. It's kind of unique and incredible timing.
Hamas Formally Takes Over Government http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060329/ap_on_re_mi_ea/palestinians_hamas...Ul Hamas formally took power Wednesday, with the Palestinian president swearing in a 24-member Cabinet that includes 14 ministers who served time in Israeli prisons. The ceremony, which came just a day after Israel's national election, ended a two-month transition period of ambiguity since Hamas' election victory in January.
Some of you know I also have a thing with numbers, specifically in regards to Biblical numerology. 12:21 is one of them (as is 27, 11:11, and any combination thereof.) 12:21 seems to mean beginnings for me. I opened this site, for example, on 12:21. This, to me, means the beginning of something. Israel going into bondage? I have no idea. Prophecy (specifically the 490 years)? I don't know. I'm just saying there's a 12:21 in the mix... and that the words 'unique' and 'unusual has come up more than once, here.
I know that nobody really understands these things. Even the dude who puts out the Biblical Astronomy newsletters just doesn't have the knowledge, because people don't read and understand the signs in the heavens Biblically anymore. It's been considered 'evil' because of Zodiac, astrology, etc... but we forget that the Zodiac was originally the signs of the 12 tribes, and that the stars led the wise men to Jesus... because they were reading the signs. I wish Christians hadn't forsaken the things we were given of God (like the feasts, the stars, the original calendar)... because in doing so we've totally shot ourselves in the foot. But thankfully we still have enough to see when something unique like this goes down. |
