There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”

Hi!  I hope you all are well!  I have had a nasty time with the flu for the last three days.  Dylan was sick with it over the weekend and, after taking care of him, I then came down with it on Tuesday.  I am glad to report that Dylan is better and went back to school on Wednesday. Anyway, I have not felt this sick or drained in years.  (I suppose I have been pretty lucky, when you look at it that way!) Apparently, there is a flu epidemic in my area -- and a few of the schools have even closed down to disinfect!  I know I need to rest and take care of myself -- but is it VERY frustrating to be sick!!!  No time for this, ya know?  But then again, I suppose that is LIFE!   Take care of yourselves, okay?

Oh dear sorry to hear you got that darn flu had it myself and it hung on like forever it seemed. I know what you mean about having no time for it but then do we ever really have time to be sick :) Being the silly creatures that we be though, the minute we start feeling better, we slam 'er into high gear and go like mad people LOL Point is, where we all going so fast know what I mean lol We act like if we are sick and can't do anything the whle world is gonna crash LOL I know once I started feeling better I raced around every day like a chicken with it's head cut off and darn near exhausted myself enough to drop LOL This morning I jumped outta bed cause I forgot it is Friday and I promised the grandbabies we would go to Chuckie Cheese, went flying over to their house, coffee mug in one hand, smoke in the other. Thankfully Brandy said she is going to have to pass today so that gives me time now to clean my home. I think what happens is when we are sick and can't do anything we fly into an all alert panic when we are better and try to make up for our down time. Well thats mom's for ya, world would certainly fall apart without us and no one can tell us differently LOL Take good care now xoxo Tynee

Soup for You (hope you feel better...)
My daughter had it for about a week,, then I got it-it's nasty. I didn't realize it, but apparently the flu shot only covers about 40% of the flus out there! Hope you're better really soon-I still feel a lack of energy...

I'm feeling a little *blech* myself -- just a stupid little cold.  Glad you enjoyed the songs I posted.  A little "music therapy",

Leah

Sorry to hear about the flu bug in your area. I've become an almost obsessive hand-washer at work. I have to walk through so many doors everyday and I know people don't wash their hands like they should.

Thank you for all your prayers and I will add you to my prayer list for a speedy recovery .   My 2yr old grand daughter kept us all up last night running up to 102.7 temp ...we heard out this way that there is a new strain of the flu that even the flu shot is not helping with... we certainly don't want that one.   God bless you baby girl.

We have been having a bug go around here too...
there have been about 20% of students gone for a few days in some schools because of this nasty bug
