| It's amazing how much I'm NOT on the computer when there are a billion people around to talk to in person. How is life, peeps?!? I'm about to go to the wonderful gym TMC has....I love it! Ok, but c'mon that is a minor issue goin' down here at this college! Yesterday in New Testament Survey 1 I was learning all about Herod the Great, the Maccabee's and just some totally cool things that I'm excited to be learning! Verse Time! Psalm 1:2-3 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not whither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 63:7 For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. | | |
| What better way to end my time at the marvelous gym than to walk outside while its pouring rain. Nicole Nordman's song "Gratitude" filled my ears through my iPod..... "Send some rain, would You send some rain? 'Cause the earth is dry and needs to drink again And the sun is high and we are sinking in the shade Would You send a cloud, thunder long and loud? Let the sky grow black and send some mercy down...... We'll give thanks to You with gratitude For lessons learned in how to thirst for You How to bless the very sun that warms our face If You never send us rain.... So grant us peace, Jesus, grant us peace Move our hearts to hear a single beat Between alibis and enemies tonight Or maybe not, not today Peace might be another world away And if that's the case...." I'm so happy here at TMC. I'm learning so much every single day and the entire experience is absolutely amazing. My favorite part is that there are people and friends to talk to 24 hours a day. I am SO VERY blessed.

| Great Is Your FaithfulnessJust being here at The Master's College for 2 full days, I have already learned so much. There is so much to learn....and I've really enjoyed meeting tons of people. Of course, that's pretty much my favorite thing to do! Hearing other people's life stories has been quite an enlightening experience. I think its always good to know a lot of different types of people because that is a great way to learn about life and so many other things! Whew...sorry if I sound a little jaded...I'm pretty tired! I guess that's what can get to you when you're busy running and running and being thrown into a new situation and trying to remember everybody's name! If you would please pray for me..... there is one matter on my heart that I'm a little worried about. I just sat down and prayed and asked the Lord what He would be teaching me through this situation. I don't have a roommate yet. I would really love to have a roommate because wouldn't it be nice to have a little buddy and just make things not so lonely in the room? Don't get me wrong, I do already have some wonderful friends.....and actually, not all of the students have arrived yet. That comes tomorrow. So maybe things will really start to pick up tomorrow and I won't miss having a roommate. I DO have a scheduled roommate, its just that they're not positive she's actually coming. Yeah...doesn't really sound promising....but I know there is something in this situation that the Lord wants to teach me. Because He has a reason for everything, doesn't He? I went to my first Master's College basketball game tonight, which was soooo much fun!! I get so into games like that!! We spanked APU!! YEAH BABY!! GO MASTER'S!! ::Wednesday-January 17-2007:: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S FREAKIN' SNOWING OUT MY WINDOW?!?!?!
CRAZINESS!! But what a beautiful day to spend the morning...... I already went for a run when it was clear and now I'm sipping on my green tea. Now I get to go to another meeting in just a moment! Whew, this is fun!! And by the by, here's a picture of me in my dorm room!

| So -- I'm getting ready to leave for -- The Master's College!!!
This is the pile of stuff I have going already! And that is not even including my bedding and pillows and towels that are downstairs, all of my clothing and shoes etc. Does that look high maintenance to you? I'm hoping not because I think that my neighbor Melissa even had more stuff than that when she went up to Cal Baptist University. LOL! | | |
| Random Is The Word. I've totally been in the mood to watch "Anne of Green Gables" lately! Who wants to go rent it with me? Regarding The Office: Dwight CAN'T leave the Scranton branch!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Thank you Lord for the restoration of long-term friendships. I'm glad I didn't have to go through more drama this weekend than is necessary. By that, I mean that I'm actually pretty thankful I'm not auditioning for CYT shows for awhile now. I loved it, but it was always so difficult dealing with the waiting and just everything! Nathan is now in New York City. How amazing is that?! I'm leaving in just about 3 more days. Tonight my American Sign Language club and friends had a goodbye dinner for me. I just looooove them! Thank you Lord for everything! | | |
