Beloved...

This has been my first blog for a very very long time and it spurred not only by Kinsey telling me that I have not done it in a long time, but also something that God has laid on my heart.  This is to all of the ladies in my life that I love, know and respect.  First of all ladies, guard your heart and make sure you aren't focusing your love on anyone more than on God; second, keep yourself pure by focusing on the inner you, the one God sees.  God made you beautiful through His Son, we aren't worthy of it, worth it and nor do we represent Christ the way that we should everyday, but He made us beautiful because He is Beautiful.  Thirdly, this is something Toby Mac said to all the ladies at WinterJam and I totally agree: don't you let the men in your life disrespect you and don't you even let me step up to you unless you know he loves God with all his heart.  Don't let any man disrespect you and treat you the way that you know Christ wouldn't.  If he doesn't love God the way he is supposed to he cannot even begin to love you.  Fourth, respect the gentlemen in your life who you know love God and honor Him the way He should be honored, whether they are your brothers, brothers in Christ, fathers, or whatever else.  Finally, know this:  God is the ultimate love of your life and no one can fill that place and if there is a man seeking after your heart he will not try to fill that place, but lift up God in that place.

P. S.- Brothers: respect the women in your life; your wives, friends, girlfriends, sisters, mothers, etc.  Because if you don't their Almighty Father is watching and He is a Righteous, Holy, Loving, and Just Daddy that will not let an offense against Himself and His child unanswered for.

These words are His, to His glory alone.

Wow.......it has been a long time since I have last posted, I am sorry.  Right now I am watching A Knights Tale with Clayton and Scott Mitchell.  This is a good movie.  LOTS OF PAIN!!!  This has been somewhat of a relaxing afternoon and evening.  I sat on the couch and watched tv all afternoon; what a waste.  It was more frustrating than anything because I don't like watching tv, there is nothing less than smut on tv these days.  And bad Power Rangers episodes.  Today we put up the set for Into the Woods it was fun because we got to destroy some of the drum platforms...it was awesome.

Heath Ledger is not a good singer.  Papa John's pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been almost an entire week since my last post about having such an awesome day; well, today is totally the opposite.  Today is still a long day because it isn't over.  I've been up for fifteen hours and still going.  I have a huge paper to write yet and the night seems to getting longer and longer.  This is awesome.  I know the reason this day was awful, or at least why I see it as awful.  I didn't spend time with the Lord this morning when I got up.  I read something in my Leadership Bible last week that resonates in my mind.  "You will either choose to view your circumstances in light of God's character or God's character in light of your circumstances; everyone will choose one or the other."  That is so true.  Well, I hope tomorrow is a better day.  I will look at tomorrow as another chance to serve God and to have a joyful heart.  I will choose early in the morning what my day will be like.  By spending time with the King of all kings.  Thanks for listening.  Oh! did anyone else think that the speaker this morning sounded like a white James Earl Jones.  Take My Love by Shane Barnard is one of the coolest songs ever. Just thought I would add that.  Elizabeth I am sorry to hear about your trombone.

Today was an all around good day.  Long, but good.  The thing that really made this a good day was this: it was cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's gonna snow, I can smell it.  You know someone who loves snow and coldness; Jimmy.  I remember watching Mortal Combat at his house on Christmas, we were snowed in pretty much and it was awesome.  It was cold.  "I like winter more than summer because you can only take so much clothes off, you can always put more on" -- Dan Yates.  Anyway, today was a good day.  Thanks for your time.  I'll see you around.

                                                                                                God Bless     In Him,

I know that I have already posted today, but I feel God laying this on my heart to be shared.  Right now I am listening to a song by Chris Tomlin called Mighty is the Power of the Cross.  I am also reading and studying God's word.  God has shown me and, once again, bewildered me with His awesome love.  I am in constant awe of God's ability to love me in spite of who I think I am.  There are times when God absolutely rocks me, reminding of how powerful His love, grace, and strength are -- this is when God reminds me I am His and the blood of His Son covers me fully.  I am utterly worthless before the throne of God.  Tainted, broken, torn, bruised, beaten, and cast out of His prescence.  But the Good News is that where there was once brokeness, tears, bruises, and lonliness there is now the Powerful prescence of Jesus Christ -- my strength, my song, my King, my love, my God, my all, my Abbah.  You want to see something awesome, spend some time in the Word and in prayer before the throne of God with your heart open wide saying; "show me my sin, then show me Your Grace."  There is nothing like resting in the arms of He who fills all things in every way.
