| Becks didn't make the tripSeriously... what is the deal with people freaking about David Beckham not making the trip to Dallas.... first off from the very beginning it was pretty certain he would not play until Aug! 2nd i was right. 3rd he is hurt... it was obvious watching his 13 minute inaugural game. 4th it was a superliga game that meant NOTHING at all.... his team isn't doing well this season so it makes sense to rest him until he is ready to play in matches that matter.... The F.C. Dallas should not have raised tickets like they did and deserve this flack for what happened.
Those of you who think he should had gone to sit on the bench... get over it... those who know they wont play rarely ever travel..... he is a footballer... so he should go when he is there to play the game. Back off.... and by the way, if he got on a plane now and quit... i would still be happy with this... he had made the game already bigger than it was....
oh yes... on last thing.... I no longer am a Pele fan.... he apparently is Jealous of the attention Beckham is getting and has been complaining about it.... what a bum.... pele you have had the american attention long enough... just go away... you were good yes... but there are better out there.... maybe not Becks... but at least he has the people wanting to go... he is selling jerseys and finally selling out stadiums for the MLS.....
