Or maybe just American. We're all rednecks on the 4th.

I got to see a reenactment of the battles of Lexington and Concord. And for a couple hours beforehand men in breeches and women in mobcaps were randomly wandering around the park. Plus two or three 8-10 year-old girls dressed as miniature versions of their colonial mothers. And Lobsterbacks in blinding red and white. It was awesome.

Unfortunately, you need a license to shoot off fireworks here in the Socialist State of New York. I guess the government's worried about their voters all going blind and deaf. <g>
