| Summer's going good. I was down in NC in late June for UNC basketball, which was fun I might add. After that I stayed for two days just kickin it.

| 1 YearJune 14th,
One year ago today, I said goodbye to North Carolina. I hated leaving everybody and everything, and for about the first six months I lived up here, I hated it and I wanted to go back to NC. I figured that I would always hate it up here.
But then school started and I met some pretty cool people. The first day of school I was appalled to be the only kid who wasn't a walking billboard for designer clothes.
I've learned though, that you shouldn't judge that someone is materialistic or snobby just because they wear abercrombie and hollister. I've also learned that there really isn't an alternative for girls and that most of them look best in preppy clothes. I thought I'd never have a good group of friends.
But, as the year went on, I continued to meet more people and got to know the ones I know even better. I realized that people might wear preppy clothes, but that doesn't mean they're going to be stuck up. I've met a whole lot of really cool people up here and as the weather's getting better, I'm really starting to really like it.
Has it really been a year?

| Schools alright, I'm doing ok up here.
As of June 14th, a little less than a month from now, I will have been living here for an entire year. I can't believe it either.
On that date, I will post some thoughts.
