SPRING BREAK!!!!

After a stressful and really long week(and its not even over yet) im almost done with midterms. I have Old Testament in a few hours, a paper to write for business law, and a quiz in CCT - christianity and critical thinking, then I will be home for a week! Im super pumped and cant wait to get away. see you all in a few days!!! yippeee. can you tell im EXCITED!!!

well its back on to studying i go.....

had my last regular indoor track meet yesterday at anderson. BUT.....we're not done yet!! im apart of an 800m relay team that will be running at nationals in two weekends at taylor upland. im so excited and pumped because we just put it together last minute!! i love our team!!

ive been doing lots of thinking and praying about things lately. this semester is definitely alot different than the first. not bad different, i havnt figured it out quite yet. it is going extremely fast. its almost midterms and i havnt been home since christmas break. thats a change from first semester. mostly because we've had meets on most weekends.

its been awesome to see God working in so many ways here. some painful, some awesome and im finding both to be so so good. im gonna be making some decisions about next year pretty soon, so God and I are having some fun. i want to trust Him in this and ultimately will, im just seeing how me gets in the way in wanting my own things and being comfortable and not giving up certain things - like time in this case.

im so excited about this next weekend because im going home with one of my suitemates, aleah. it will be nice to get away for a while because like i said earlier, its been awhile since ive gotten away. yay im way pumped. she lives in orville which is close to wooster(pronounced wuss-ter, not woo-ster) haha i got yelled at for that one at the beginning of the year!!!! hehe

k thats it for now, just felt like writing before i finish my devo for b. law tomorrow morning - im talking about jacob and im kinda excited too(even though ill be nervous in the morn)

YIKES!!! haha i guess its been awhile.

Just wanted to thank you all for such an amazing break. To be honest here I wasn't sure quite what to expect maybe not even looking forward to it all that much.

BUT....it was an amazing time of just relaxing not running around like a mad woman and really being able to spend time with my family, my friends, God. So refreshing, so encouraging.

I think of .......

* giggling and half stifled screams of awesome news(megan joy)

* making supper together with the fam, movie nights, laughing together

* our amazing Kentucky adventure - fun park games!, splunking

* making new friends - Kendra and Brittany

* listening to my favorite old band - even when they sound horrible after many months

* awesome quiet times while having the house to myself

* almost dying on a wild adventure with our driver Gary and crazy fun group

* laughing with Alex and Briana hehe love you girls

* so many crazy fun parties - thanks to everyone for opening their homes and cabin ;)

* coffee shops with friends

               - jas and lindz you two were awesome! it was great listening to you and having everyone to hang out

                - listening to Kyle, Danny, and Rich play - ah so good! and hanging out afterward

* nicole and my movie and coldstone(mmm...yum) date - love you sistah

and the list could go on and im sure ive missed alot but know that i love you and it seems that each of the times that we spend together become sweeter and sweeter - sounds wierd i guess but yeah love you and see ya when i come back - randomly

These three words have made me evaluate everything.....its like im unbuilding so that i can rebuild. But this time its with a new contractor, its with Someone that actually knows what they are doing. It's so hard though to let go of all of those old possesions - in them are memories and somehow they want to stick with me. Though i hate them i dont want to let them go. But that was the old and God is building new. The old cant be apart of the new. They dont fit anymore. But in throwing out and destroying the old comes the excitement of something new. And in that im excited, so excited to grow and in growing discover not my timing but His, not my dreams but His, and not a focus on myself, but having both eyes locked in on His. You have my full attention........

so im trying to put off writing a paper for a little longer so i thought id update.  i had a great weekend with homecoming at school then coming home and seeing/talking to many familiar and much loved faces. It was so good to hear pastor ted preach. ahh...love it. I found a really good church here and love it but its never the same.

so ill be home for thanksgiving....perhaps before...we'll see.... hehe

CC is over - recovery/stay in shape week - yay for breaks to recoup.

didnt get to hang out with my wonderful mom yesterday cause she got called into work - state walked in - blah! love you mom!
