Dang, its been an uber long time since I've updated, 3 months on the dot it looks like. So whats been happening during this three months, well let me tell you. First, school, school, and yes a little over two more weeks of school left. I'm ready for it to be over, I guess I'm still getting over my senioritis from last year. I also pledged and got into a frat here, Delta Pi. A bunch of great guys, I'm glad I made it in, and from what I hear I came pretty close to not making it. But that took half of the three months. Spring break and easter break were both really great, I got to hang out with my friend Randy alot, and I also got to know his girlfriend and her sister and their family. All good times. I just finished having my birthday, it was the 17th, turned the big 1-9. My parents came down this Saturday and it was really good. They finally got to see my new room, and I actually know where things are now so I was able to show them around Brownwood. They brought me a few cards and I got some money which is always nice. They also brought me one of my mom's cakes which are scrumptious. Only about 2 1/2 weeks left of school, then glorious summer. If things go as planned it will be an awesomely fantastic summer, if not it'll just be alright, either way though it'll be better than school, so I'm looking forward to it. Well, its getting pretty late, so I'm signing off. Stay classy everybody.

Its been like two weeks since I did anything here, hasnt felt like that long though. Anyways, I'm back in college now, and things are going pretty good. I got a new room and its a lot nicer. We have actual carpet in here and in the living room area outside of my room, and that really gives it a homely feel to it. You cant see or hear people going by your room, and besides the two other rooms in my pod, theres no one else around us. So its almost like a completely different place, an escape from college and its ways. The other guys in my pod I'm getting to know pretty well. Mike and Vince are next to me, and Brian is in the 3rd room. We all get along really well and I enjoy being around all of those guys. I also have a new roommate, Brandon, and its working out real well with him too. We have pretty similar musical tastes and sleeping habits, and he's just a really cool guy, so thats a definite plus. Brandon also convinced me to get into University Singers, which is just the lower choir. Davids girlfriend wanted me to get into Concert Choir, but maybe next year. Its pretty different though, because my only experience in choir was the youth choir at church. And the stuff we did in there wasn't as complicated this, but maybe the most unexpected thing for me is that our director has us pronouncing things properly and not scooping the tone when we first sing a note, two things which I had never encountered or thought of, but I'll work it out. I think its going to be good and that I'll get alot out of it. Another thing thats going to be coming up this semester is pledging to Delta Pi. They're a bunch of great guys, and I hadnt really thought or considered joining a fraternity when I first came to college, but I've hung out with them so much and gotten to know them so well that I'm pretty much hooked now, no turning back. Its going to be good, it'll be rough I know, but good. So I'm looking forward to/looking forward to being through with that. Well, I think thats enough for now. Take it easy everyone.

When I got tired of running from You, I stopped right there to catch my breath. There Your words they caught my ears You said, "I miss you son, come home." And my sins they watched me leave and in my heart I so believe the love You felt for me was mine, the love I'd wished for all this time. And when the doors were closed, I heard no I told you so's. I said the words I knew You knew, "Oh God, oh God, I needed You. God all this time I needed You, I needed You." And I so hate consequences, running from You is what my best defense is. I hate these consequences, 'cause I know that I let You down, and I don't want to deal with that.

I fought You for so long, I should have let You win. Oh how we regret those things we did. And all I was trying to do was save my own skin, but so were You. So were You.

Lyrics of Relient K's, feelings of mine.

It's been forever since I've done an entry, but thats about how fast my life goes. I got back from college over a week ago, and its been interesting. Its alot different from when I visited, because when I visited it would only be for a few days, so I would do as much and see as many people as possible, but now for Christmas break I'm just here, no big rush to see anybody or do anything in particular. So its been kind of boring and slow paced, but oh well. I have actually done several things lately though. Thursday and Friday I was moving desks and furniture into the new Ben Barber, It was a lot of hard, unsatisfying work, but I got paid for it, and the extra cash will be nice. I also went and saw the Summit band/choir concert. It was really good, in fact I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the HPU band and choir. They were also both larger than what we have at HPU, which is kind of sad. Christmas is coming soon and I'm pretty excited. This is just an awesome time of year. I still have like half of my shopping left to do since I'm a big procrastinator, but its all good, I work well under pressure. Well there's probably more to say, but I'm too tired right now to think of it. I'm going to sleep now and hopefully I will sleep very, very late. Peace out peoples.

Ah, the second entry. I'm writing this very late, so Im going to be talking about Sat. like its today. I went to a street dance earlier tonight, those are always fun. A bunch of people going out into the country, parking on the side of the road, and dancing in the street to country music, its a mixture that just can't fail. Anyways, we had just gotten to our spot, and just as we were starting to dance a cop drives up and says that if he finds us out there again we're all going to jail. I'm pretty sure that we're not breaking any law, and we've even had cops come to one because of an incedent and they didn't say anything, but we said okay and left. We then drove out to a new spot that some guy took us to, and it was really nice. Also out in the country, but this was a coldesac with nothing in it, so nobody would be driving through or anything like that. And just like most street dances, there were more guys than girls there, which means a lot of standing around for me. Since we moved and all, there weren't very many people at this one, it was about 7-8 guys and 3 girls. It was pretty fun though, and I think I actually danced more at this one than at the others. Not a bad way to spend my last weekend at HPU for the year.

I went and saw our concert or a cappella choir last night. The singing was really good, but the songs I didn't enjoy as much. What was interesting though was that they had a harp there and they sang with that on a few songs. I had never heard a harp in real life before so I thought that was pretty cool. I find I like the harp, its got a nice sound to it, and I really liked hearing it out of the typical high pitched heavenly range and more in its mid-range. Afterwards a few of us went to Taco Bueno and ate there for a while, then we came back to Veda and played ping pong. It had been a long time since I last played, but I did surprisingly well. Then after several games of that we decided to watch The Terminal. I had never seen it before, but it was a really good movie, I liked it. When the movie was over it was 2 o'clock which means curfew for me. Next semester I'm going to be a sophomore, and so I won't have to worry about curfew anymore. Anyways, last night was not next semester, so I went back to my room. David had rented Spiderman 2 and he let me borrow it, I just had to return it in the morning for him. I hadn't seen it yet either(I really should get out and see some movies every once in awhile) so I watched it then. It was a very good movie, but it was after 4 before I got to bed. Actually, I've gotten to bed really late pretty much everynight this week. I have had a lot to think about, and when I go to bed is when my brain chooses to think about stuff. The five hours during the day when I'm just sitting in my room doing nothing won't work, but the hour or two after I go to bed does. I don't know if this is how it is with other people, but for some reason that thought as you're lying in your bed at night is just when everything comes up, what happened that day, all your thoughts and feelings that you've been having, it all just culminates into that time. I also seem to be getting used to staying up so late, because I should be a lot more tired right now than I am. I'm coming home Thursday and I am looking forward to it intensely. I will be through with school for this semsester, the weight will be lifted from my shoulders and I will be able to enjoy life once again....at least for a month. I won't be so rushed this time, I will be able to slowly enjoy my time at home. I will be able to get things situated, hopefully talk to some people that I haven't seen in a while, things like that. Its going to be good.

Well, I really need to get to sleep now. Later everyone.
