Haven't posted in so long.  Just wanted to say "Happy Holidays!" 

Lots of things have happened since I last wrote.

Hi Everyone!  Hope you're doing well.  It's been a while since I've posted so let me try to remember...

 In mid-March, I got to fly to Seattle and go to Whistler with Byron and his friends.  It was a wonderful trip.  First time out of the country.  Too bad I didn't get a stamp on my passport though hehe...  We didn't get to explore Seattle.  Just got to fly over the city and drive through it to get to Whistler.  Snowboard was painful but fun.  Byron's really good and he taught me how to stand up and glide for a bit before falling down again.  He didn't get to snowboard that much because he didn't want to leave me alone so I felt bad. 

But on our last day there, I told him to go board  and I

 walked around the village by myself.  

I'm happy that Byron got to go to the top with his friends, even though he got lost with Polly later hehe... It was pretty when the sky became sunny and a little bit of snow fell.  So pretty.

We even got a carrot from the grocery store for the nose hehe...  It was hard taking a picture with our Frosty because no one was around and it was raining a little hard.   Yep, I'm so happy that we got to make a snowman. 

We got to ride the snowmobile too.  It was rough and raining.  Byron got so wet.  Sometimes, I felt like I was going to fall off. 

We got to see an opening show.  It was cool.

After our Whistler Trip, Byron and I got to take Hannah and Ethan to the Montebello Barnyard Zoo.  It was our first time taking the kids out by ourselves.  It was fun and it was nice to see the kids having lots of fun.  They got to feed the animals and pet them too.  So cute.

Also got to have lunch with Anny at Noodle World for her belated birthday so that was nice.  Thanks for coming out to eat with me Anny!  Happy for you and Bertrand too :)

We also got to celebrate Qing Ming with family and have a Happy Easter Egg Hunt for the kids too.  Lots of yummy food.  It was Byron's first time going to pray at the cemetary with us too so that was nice. 

Last week, I got to have dinner with Narine and Jenny. 

Laurel couldn't make it.  We went to El Torito in Pasadena for Happy Hour.  The strawberry smoothie I got was kind of nasty, but the food was yummy.  Thanks for a fun time Narine.  Can't wait to see you next time Laurel.

 Got to go to the California Science Center to see the Star Wars Exhibit with Byron and his family.  I've never seen Star Wars but it was cool.  I want to watch the movies now hehe...

  Hi Everyone!   

Hope everything is going well for you.  Haven't posted in so long and my friends haven't posted in so long too.  On Saturday, I got to watch "Kung Fu Hustle" with Byron.  It's a very funny movie.    You should all watch it.  The Saturday before, we got to go help Mr. B and Amy with judging for speech competition (State Quals).  It was nice being able to see Mr. B, Amy, Jasmin, and be there with Anny and Byron.  Too bad Jasmin didn't feel well so she had to leave early so she didn't get to be in the picture. 

Thanks for going Anny and thank you for taking us Byron!

Got to go ice-skating with Byron and Derek in late February at Pickwick Ice in Burbank.

Got to celebrate at McGrath's Fish House for Byron's friend Amy's birthday. 

  The food was yummy.   

Chinese New Year was nice.  Got to spend time with my baby cousins and family.

Byron and I also got to light up lanterns with Ethan.    His parents went to a family gathering so Ethan was left asleep in my brother's room.  Then he woke up and we were afraid he'd cry.  Luckily he didn't and Byron and I kept him company.  The picture above is so cute.  I was getting ready to take the picture and Ethan said "wait!"  He pushed Byron gently down so that he could reach and put bunny ears on Byron.

Got to have a nice Happy Valentine's Day with Byron.  Got to go to Almansor Park after dinner at Yazmin.

Oh yeah, got to finish watching the Korean drama "Save the Last Dance for Me."  It's so nice.

Got to go to Magic Castle in Hollywood with Byron and his friends.  It was cool and I was picked to be a magician's assistant along with Sarena.  I had to cut the cards in half.  I sat on one half.  Sarena counted her half and there were only 12.  So that meant that I had 18 since I had to count out 30 cards in the beginning before cutting the cards.  After the magician did something without touching the cards, I had to count my cards and I was left with 15.  Sarena recounted her cards and she had 15, not 12.  It was so cool.

In January was Byron's birthday.  I got to make him a cake so I'm proud of myself for being able to.  

  He said it was a wonderful birthday so I'm happy.  Glad that you had a nice birthday Byron.  Also, Happy Belated Birthday to Anny.  Her birthday's also in January.  We'll go out soon okay Anny.

It was also Tracy's birthday so Susan and I got to have late breakfast with her at the Golden Dragon Restaurant in Chinatown.  We ate dim sum. 

 It was a nice time just being able to see them again.

Also, on January 1st, got to have breakfast with Narine and Laurel at IHOP.  Our first breakfast of the year.

Got to go ice-skating with Narine and her cousins after Christmas last year at the Pasadena Ice-Skating Center.  It was fun being with them.  Thanks for going Narine and bringing the kids!

Got to take a picture with Mieko and the work building's big Christmas tree in the lobby. 

  Each tree was about $3,000.  Shipped from Oregon or Washington.  Crazy huh...  Oh yeah, I found out recently that one of my former colleagues has pancreatic cancer.  So sad huh...  Mieko told me Yuko's only 32 years old.  So sad.  I hope she'll be okay though.  Mieko told me the doctor said that Yuko has less than a month left.  I hope to be able to see her.  Still waiting for news from Mieko.  So sad.  =(   

Got to have dinner with Anny and Bryan before Christmas too.  Thanks for a fun time you two!

Last Christmas was wonderful.   

Got to go to Las Vegas with Byron and spend time with family.  

It was also Nikki's 6th Birthday on Christmas Eve so that was nice.  Yep, it was a wonderful Christmas.

Hope you all had a nice Happy Thankgiving with family and friends.  As for me, this was the first time in a long time that we didn't have big family gathering.  My mom, grandma, and Eng's parents are vacationing in Cambodia. 

This is a picture of us at LAX, seeing them off.  I miss my mom and grandma very much.  Whenever I see an old lady, I think of my grandma.  Whenever I see moms, I miss my mom hehe...

  Back to Thanksgiving.  Brother went to San Diego to celebrate with Marly and her family.  Hannah and her family stayed in Bakersfield.  And Aunt Tina and family stayed in Las Vegas.  My dad was home.  I got to make some cupcakes for my dad so I'm glad that he liked them.  I got to spend Thanksgiving with Byron and his family so that was nice.  It's a big family and things just feel different.  In good way though.  Just different hehe... I just need to get used to it.  But yeah, I had a nice Thanksgiving and am happy   Hope you all had a nice time too and are enjoying the long weekend.

Lots have happened since I last updated.  Got to attend Baby Samantha's birthday party so it was very nice being able to see Melanie and her baby again.  Samantha's grown up a lot now.  Shows that time passes by so quickly before you know it.  

 I love that picture of her and her mom.  Yep, it's always nice to be able to hang out with friends again.

In about mid-October, Byron and I got to take Snoopy to meet Mieko's dog Marine a first and last time. 

Marine had cancer and was put to sleep later that week.  It was so sad.  I'm happy that we were able to get them to meet though.  They were so cute together. 

 

A little earlier in October, I also got to make ravioli with Byron.  It was fun and a little tiring.  But it was yummy so I'm happy. 

Aren't they cute hehe... Byron made them much nicer than mine.  The funny looking ones are mostly mine.

  Then it was time to pack and go home.  Brother ate it all when I got home. 

 

Recently, I also got to go to Disneyland & California Adventure with Byron so that was nice. 

 

 

The fireworks were beautiful.  They even had fake snow too.  So magical.  This was us at the Buzzlight game thing. 

 

I don't know what happened to Byron's face and I just look all scared.  Look at my score.  I did so bad.  Thanks Byron O(>.<)O

 

Also, got to hang out with Hannah and Ethan in October.  I miss them already.  

 

Also, got to hang out with Toan and Anny one day in October.  It was nice being able to see them again so thanks for being there you two. =)

 

Oh yeah, earlier this month, also got to go to Wat Thai with Susan and Tracy.  Here is a picture of us with a Thai dancer for the festival.

 

 

And another thing, also got to go to the Getty Villa in Malibu.  We got to see the gingerbread man.

Happy September Everyone!  Hope you're all doing well.  It's been so hot but it's been gloomy in the mornings also.  Almost time for Autumn so I can't wait.  It's back to school with the kids in Castelar Elementary.  I like my classes and I miss my old students so I hope I'll get to see them again, especially my favorites. 

Summer's been really nice for me.  I got to hang out with family and friends a lot.  In mid-August, I got to go up north with my cousins.  I got to go on the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time, Lombard Street

, Ghirardelli's to share a warm hot fudge sundae, so yummy! and go to Chinatown and Union Square too.  Their Chinatown is very nice and it looks historical.  While on Pier 39, we got to see real seals.  I didn't know they were there.  I only knew that there was a sculpture there.  I thought the seal hugging the seal while sleeping is so sweet.  hehe...   Yep, it was a wonderful trip and I'm happy that I got to go with Byron and Marly and Mhappy and the rest. 

I also got to attend my colleague George's wedding.  It was very nice and it was my first time at a church.  I think I went to church when I was a baby but I don't remember.  Yeah, the wedding was very touching.  This is my favorite picture of them. 

  George and Mirela.  Beautiful huh... They went back home to Romania on August 30th.  Wishing them happily ever after.

Uncle Bak Leng and Aunt Heang came from Chicago too so it was time for a big family reunion too.  So, I got to see Hannah, Nikki, and Ethan.  They're so cute.    And growing up so fast and talking so much.  And we also got to celebrate for Grandma's birthday so that was nice.  Happy Birthday again Grandma!  We love you!

Yep, it's been a very nice summer.  Got to go ice-skating in Pasadena and watch "The Sound of Music" show in the Hollywood Bowl.  I like it there.  So nice.  Traffic is so bad though.  But it's so nice over there hehe...  Got to go to the Discovery Science Center and the La Brea Tar Pits.  Many more... Thank you so much Byron! 

Also, got to hang out with Narine and Laurel.  Went to eat at Olive Garden in Glendale.  It was nice being able to see them again.    Also, got to finally hang out with Anny too.  So thanks Anny for a nice time playing in the arcade and eating ice cream.  I want more hehe...
