Wow it's been forever since I've posted.

Fall semester started up again and it's the end of my second week of classes. My schedule's great since I don't have classes on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. =) I know....lots of people hate me for it. The start of senior year hasn't been too bad. Classes are going pretty well. I really wish Magy hadn't left. Now I have a crazy professor who should be in the CSE department, not IST. He totally doesn't know what we've learned or anything like that. Boy am I glad that I have Dave and Jeff. And I definitely pull my own weight in groups with them as much as I can. I feel like Chinese might kick my butt if I don't start practicing speaking it everyday. Hopefully I'll manage. I really wish I had more time to TI but now that I have a crazy professor, I don't even have time to help out during Fred's class. =( I'm making up for it by helping out with review/tutorial sessions at the same time on Thursdays.

Being a Concession Stand Manager is just as hard as I remember it. We have a brand new supervisor who knows a lot less about the stand than I do. I miss Doug, but Larry, the new supervisor, isn't bad. A little bit too touchy for most of the girls' taste but I think that's just how he grew up cuz his brother does the same thing. *shrugs* We had a good first game. Some of the prices on the items we sell were raised so we did have a higher than average sale day. A couple of my friends that were watching the game got pretty badly sun-burnt. Red as a tomato. =P All in all, I was glad to be back at the stadium again.

Tuesday, Sarah and I went to the first Ballroom Dance Club meeting of the year. It was a lot of fun. International and American style are close enough that I had to be a lead for the night. That or I'm just a quick learner. *shrugs* There were a TON of girls there and not nearly enough guys. I really hope the number of girls that go dies down a lot cuz even though being a lead occasionally can be fun, I like being a follow and not having to think about what to do next. I also talked to Jolene about Ballroom Dance II and she didn't seem to have any problems with me doing it in the Spring if I learned all the International styles this semester at club and maybe participate in a couple competitions. =O That'd be exciting!

So....onto some more exciting news. I <3 APPLE! So Apple's come out with their new stuff and it's all pretty amazing. I love the nickname for the new Nano. ("fatty") I really like the fact that they did come out with an iPhone....without the phone. It's called the iPod touch and it's just so cool. It only comes in 8 and 16 gigs but it's the iPhone without the phone!! They're also made a WAY bigger iPod "Classic". It not comes in 160GB for $350. That's not bad. And needless to say, I'm torn on which I'd rather have. 16Gb iPod touch which plays music, videos, and has wi-fi for web browsing or the 160Gb iPod Classic which would play music and serve as another hard drive for me. *sigh* Decisions, decisions.

Summer so far...

It's been a fun summer so far. Even if I am working, it doesn't feel like work. It's really enjoyable and I'm learning something new. It's exciting. I've helped fix up a little bit of the project I'm working on but since the part I was working on is pretty much almost done, I'm looking for something else to do with it. Hopefully it'll look like a real Fantasy Sports engine. I'm hoping it also won't be secluded to just Fantasy Basketball and we use it for different sports. Probably just have to find the same resources to provide us with the info that we need.

It's been really fun getting to know people a little better even if they have already left for home and I won't see them again till the Fall. I went to KoP this past week for the 4th of July. My friend Sarah wanted me to come and I missed her so I did. We had fun. Saw Transformers on July 3rd. It's such a good movie. I can't believe that lots of girls don't want to watch it. Then again, Sarah and I agreed that we weren't normal girls. Got rained on lots before the 4th of July fireworks. Not as good as the State College ones but still good. Thursday was lots of fun as I was freaking out about my bus. I didn't know I had to check in so I did it pretty late. My first bus which took me from KoP to Harrisburg had left Philly about 27 minutes late. So at that point, I wasn't sure if I would make my connection bus on time. Luckily, as we pulled in to the Harrisburg station, it was still there and being cleaned out. Yay for buses not being on time... X_X

I got to see Dan Lin and Luke Chow before they left State College. Saw Transformers again with them. XD It's always fun to see alumni. I forget when but Joyce Tam and Gary Leung dropped by for a day. It was great seeing Joyce again. I missed her. Gary I could live without. I can't believe I'm going to be an alumni in only 1 more year. >.< *not thinking about it*

On top of all that happening this past week, I also have a guest staying with me for a week. (Some of you know who ^^;; ) Things are going slow and I'm glad about that. I think that was one of my fears because of what happened last time with Kevin. He's been a gentleman and I don't think we've had many awkward moments. Definitely going smoothly so far and I'm surprised I'm not being very shy with him. It's usually what happens when I meet people for the first time. I go into this stage where I get pretty shy and quiet and don't talk much. It's how I am around my grandma's and mom's friends so they think I'm a good kid and whatnot. So happy that hasn't happened. Still nothing official yet but that's okay. Nice and slow is a good thing...and it's a rarity with our fast paced world that's so quick to jump into a relationship so blinded by "love." Also, thanks to everyone that was still in State College when he arrived. Even though you guys were freaking me out at the restaurant and dreading the way you guys would act in front of him. Calvin was by far the worst. You didn't say a lot...silence is one of the deadliest things. X_x Oh, and thanks for all the teasing.

We'll see where all this goes and if you want more details, feel free to ask in emails/ims. Not going in depth on here. =P

It's been about 2 weeks since I've been at PSU for the summer and it's been pretty fun. So far, I've gone bowling, canoeing, grilling outdoors, stargazing, plenty of volleyball playing, and watched movies during the time I've been up here. I'd forgotten just how much fun a summer at PSU really is. Work has been fun so far too. One of the best things about the job is the Powerbook G4 that I'm using right now to type up this entry. =P Gotta love working at the school. ^_^

Nothing else really exciting going on in my life....except one thing. I'm going to have a visitor from July 6th to July 14th. I'm really excited to have this person visit me. I guess I've been waiting for this for kind of a long time now. I know a few people probably know about this person. For those that don't, I don't really want to get into it on Xanga so you can message me about it or something. =P I just wish this person was visiting during the school year. So many people who aren't here that I'd like them to meet. *sigh*

Internships...

I finally heard back from CGI the other day and the woman I've been in contact with told me that the company had cut back on intern positions because they figured those positions wouldn't be filled this summer. But she asked that we keep in touch for when I'm looking for a full time job. Yay for future ....boo for now .

I just got a call from Solutions Institute in the IST building and she told me that they thought I was too good for the position and that I'd be bored. My first reaction was O.o? Then she continued to tell me that one of the people that interviewed me on Monday has a few grants for the summer and that I could work with him on a project over the summer instead and that would also count as an internship. Yay! Now I have to wait to hear from him and probably just work out a lot of stuff like where I'm going to live... >.>. Anyways, it's not set in stone yet but here's hoping. ^_^

It's been awhile...

Wow....it's been a long time since I've posted in here. I guess it happens when you lose interest in one thing as you become more interested in other things. Also...my life's pretty boring. =P I've been home from school for about a week now and I'm happy. My mom and grandma are great...even if they still think of me as being in high school and not knowing any better. The food's great at home and I love them for making all my favorites when I come home.

I hung out with Sarah on Tuesday at King of Prussia mall. Apparently I'm her good luck charm when it comes to shopping. =P I think that just meant that she spends more when I'm around. ^^;; It was nice. We had salads for lunch and gellatis. They were really good. Then we proceeded to buy clothes...well...she did most of the buying. Then we went to her house and just hung out. Her puppy is cute. It's 3 years old now but it's still cute. I'd scratch it's head for a little bit while it laid on her bed and when I took my hand off and just laid it down near his head, he'd use his nose in a way that put my hand back on his head. ^_^ I met her soon to be step-sister too and a few of their friends. They're an interesting bunch at that. Even though we didn't talk that much, I still had fun with her. I think we were both just too drained from shopping. =P

I'm going back up to State College for about 2 days this weekend. Going up with my mom and brother to move him into his appartment. Then I plan on sleeping over someone's appartment. I have an interview on campus in the afternoon on Monday so that's why I'll be in State College. After the interview's over, I'll probably get on a bus to head back home to Philly. Still don't know what my plans are for this summer. Only God does...I wish He'd tell me already. Oh well....patience is a virtue. =\
