| Its been a while, but I am not on the internet all that much anymore. I get on to check my e-mail and the weather and thats about it. School is going great, college algebra is going better than expected and it helps that the other students in my class don't understand it. So we are planning some study sessions for the final, which I need to get a c or better on. I absolutely love my Children't Literature class, it is fun, although it can get boring since I already know a lot about childrens books. My first aid class is a joke, and my child psychology class is ok. And work is going great, granted that I have been cussed at by a first grader, had a kindgergarter run away, and my car got broken into all at the same school, but not in the same day. Substituting has really showed me that teaching is where I should be and it just helps me and my confidence, and now I can't wait till I graduate and get a real teaching job. It seems that everybody I know had a boyfriend, well as of right now I am single, but it is confusing. I met Steve in January because he was going to help me get my ex away from me, and it was my friends mom that told me about him. And so we have been hanging out since January, he does live near Kingman and Cheney on a farm. I have so much fun hanging out with him, but it is confusing since I like him and he admitted that he likes me, whatever, its what God has in store. | Wow its been forever and a day since I have written in here. I moved back home, and I think it is where God wants me to be now. I wrote more about it in myspace blog so check it out. Yesterday was the first day of classes and I think I am going to enjoy this semester a lot the classes seem easy and fun except for College Algebra. But I have to do good in there because I have to take statistics this summer and next fall I have to take Physics, all to get into the teacher education program at Wichita State. Well I am going to go for now and eat lunch and clean my room. I will write more later. | | |
| Thought I would take a break from my homework and write in here. I feel like crap, I know I am getting a sinus infection and now it is starting to drain in my ears. Oh well, so life is really great. I am finally working and I love my job. I am a substitute teacher for the Wichita School district, the only sucky thing is that I wont get my first paycheck till November 30. Oh well, I will write more in here later, time to finish homework then go to bed. | | |
| Time for another update in the boring life of Mandy. Well to start it off, I am no longer speaking to my parents, for they are being assholes at the time. Oh Well. My dad told me not to go to Lindsborg this past weekend, but I went anyway because I have had these plans since June, or whenever I got the tickets for the Sugarland concert at the state fair. I wasn't going to listen to him. I have never gotten a long with my dad, as most of you know. Well, when I came back on Sunday morning, I went to my friend, Sharon's house to watch the nascar race with her. My dad had been calling me all weekend but I never answered. Finally he left a message when I was at her house,telling me to get my stuff and find a new place to live. So Sharon said I could move in with her. I am no longer at home, and I will be getting a new phone number soon, as soon as I get some money. I am trying to find a weekend job, but I haven't started yet. I feel so much better that I am not at home anymore. I am not stressed and I can actually relax. Sharon and I get along really well too, its working out great, shes a great friend and roommate. For those of you that know Wichita, I live off of 63rd, right before Hydraulic. Thats all for now! I will keep you posted as much as I can. | Its been a while, but I have been busy. Classes have started and once again I am bombarded with homework. Wichita State is an ok school, I still wish I was at Bethany with people I know and small classes. I have 200 kids in my biology class,and I hate it. The class itself is easy, it is everything that I learned in high school. I got bored tonight and decided to write in here and I also worked on myspace too. Well I don't know what else to write right now, so I will write more later.
