BREAKING THE CLICHE
so, its always been summer = bright, overpowering makeup, right?
not necessarily.
this summer, its all about a smokey eye, made with purple instead of uniform black.
HERE ARE THE STEPS :
1.) rim the eyes with purple eyeliner. [pencil or liquid, whatevers easier.] then, smudge the line with a q-tip.
2.) take a deep purple eyeshadow and draw a line on the upper lid, about 1/4 of an inch thick.
3.) fill in the rest of the lid with a less intense purple color.
4.) highlight the brows with a shimmery, sugar colored shadow.
5.) a black mascara is always great.
5.) finish off with a peachy lip gloss.

stick eyeliner [pick the shade called lust]
liquid eyeliner [pick the shade called plum]
purple shadow [pick the shade called fishnet]
light purple shadow [pick the shade called party montster OR night fairy]
shimmery shadow [pick the shade called tibet]
mascara
peachy gloss [pick the shade called wildly lush]
