It wasn't odd to have two or three 'best' friends.

Being old referred to anyone over 20.

A chance to skate as a couple at the local roller rink was like winning the lottery.

The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.

Nobody was prettier than Mom.

Nobody was cooler or stronger than Dad.

Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better.

It was a big deal to finally be tall enought to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair.

When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever.

My Response to people who listen to the Critics and don't see Rent (A lot of people tell me they think it'll suck)

::Gasp:: You'll just have to see it then. It was a musical just like Beauty and the Beast but no one said anything bad about dancing tea cups and a human turned into a beast, but you take people from real life situations and critics can't stand it. They don't all have aids, a few do though. Some have had drug problems, some still do. Some don't have money to pay rent.
