| INSTEAD OF GOOGLE,
please use www.goodsearch.com
it is basically google, EXCEPT everytime you make a search, they donate
one penny to our Seekers clubs all over New York City. just type in
"Urban Youth Alliance" where it asks what you are supporting and click "Urban Youth Alliance International (Bronx, NY)" and start searching!
thanks!

| thanks
to everyone who made our Jesus Day possible. thanks for all of the
members for your hardwork and dedication and their consistency in
coming to Seekers.. for your prayers.. for encouraging each other. i
don't think i know how to explain how encouraged I was and am this
whole week by all of you, but i just thank God for all of you and your
love and kindness. =) thanks to all of our brothers and sisters from
other schools who came to join us just to encourage us and praise God
with us. thanks to all of the people who came, whether you believe in
the Lord or not. Jesus day was awesome, and the only reason it was so
was because of God and all of your devotion, guys and gals. i hope you
were all as encouraged as i was today by everything that happend
throughout the day, and all that's left to do is pray for God to send
revival to our school.
thanks for all of the prayers. the words
of encouragement. the jokes. the games. the please and thank yous.
for pouring sodas for each other. for serving pizza. for talking with
one another. for the hugs. the laughs. the tears. the pictures taken.
the pats on the back. the chats. the hellos in the hallway. the
crazyness. the dances. the nicknames. the gum chewing. the
enthusiasm. for your hearts.
man, seriously, praise be to God Almighty!
What can we say to describe just a glimpse of Your glory? How can our words portray just a thread of Your majesty? Hallelujah!
--- special thanks to Pastor Don for coming all the way over to BX.. stuy, clinton, townsend harris, and bronx science, of course (haha!).. for all of the members for their hard work! for all the people who helped with the equipment and setting up.. most of all, we thank God for all that he has done and all that he will be doing <3

| Jesus Day!are you ready for it? May 18th
theme: What is Worth?
The Rich Young Man 17As
Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees
before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit
eternal life?" 18"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone. 19You
know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not
steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father
and mother.'[d]" 20"Teacher," he declared, "all these I have kept since I was a boy." 21Jesus
looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell
everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in
heaven. Then come, follow me." 22At this the man's face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. 23Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!" 24The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is[e] to enter the kingdom of God! 25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." 26The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, "Who then can be saved?" 27Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."

| Greetings in Jesus Christ's name! Just
wanted to say it was a pleasure getting to know some of you and playing
telephone cherades (is that spelled right?) with all of you yesterday. Here's a few things you all might want to know...
1- the main point of this xanga is just to let you
guys know what's going on. it is also, though, a place for you to share
your thoughts with your fellow brothers and sisters here and a place to
stay connected with seekers alumni (they check this site once in a
while ;D). feel free to leave comments, etc.
2- our vision is posted on the public profile.
3- bxseekerz@gmail.com .. email us with ideas, prayer requests, etc.
4- the following is the leaders contact information
(in ABC order for your viewing pleasure, hah). if you have anything you
wanna talk about, our screen names and email addresses are posted. so
here they are! i might post up our free periods if necessary.
