| GREETINGS FROM AUSTRALIA!!!
So, I havent updated in three months...It has been amazing in Australia, I recommend studying abroad to anyone who can!!! It's a life changing experience! There has been so much goin on that it's impossible to write out everything..but this weekend has just been so amazing that I feel the need to share...so here goes....So I started Friday with finding the most amazing cocktail place ever....half price from 7-9pm =).....a whole book full of yummy cocktails...and went to some concert I fell asleep at cuz it was after the cocktails....then Sat, had some bbq with some authentic Ozzies and Kiwis (that's wut they call New Zealanders)...had a good time, drank jack and coke out of the can!  It's surprisingly not too bad...then I went to King's cross...went to my first strip club...prostitution is actually legal in some parts...yea.... .....interesting experience, I wont elaborate on that, though u can ask me if ur in the mood to hear some really gross things....Came home at 3am and left at 5am to take the train to Blue Mountains to go abseiling/canyoning...SOOO beautiful... unfortunately I didnt get any pics in the canyons cuz we were jumping down water holes and slides and got too wet to bring a camera....but the abseil down the waterfall was a lil more slippery and harder than I expected....Nonetheless, it was still beautiful....Then we went to Darling Harbour at the Sydney Opera Houseto catch the fireworks cuz it was the Australian Idol Grand Final (yes, they have australian idol here and it is quite popular)....instead of standing outside, we got FREE tickets from this lady who worked there and went into the Opera House and watched the show live!!!!   I still cant believe we got so lucky...I hardly follow the Australian idol show but it was so much fun!!!! Anyhow, so that's my weekend...I cant wait to learn how to surf this weekend....Im practically black now lol... But I do miss ppl back home....At this point of the program, I dun wanna leave Australia and yet I wanna see everyone back home....I miss u guys!!!!!! I've learned so much through this program, from the internship to the trips to having a kitchen! lol =P <3 and miss u all!!!! esp my baby <3 Hope everyone had an awesome semester!!!

| Yay, I'm finally 21 ...no more big Xs on my hands when I go out!!! Went to watch RENT with my baby..<3 u ...was very good as expected..=) It sucks that I have to spend my bday on the plane but at least I won't be puking my brains out like last year...I can't believe it's 2:00am and I'm still not done packing....must never procrastinate....so tired...I really shouldnt be writing on xanga right now..but I figure that since I don't know when I will have internet access in Sydney,I might as well write an entry before I leave. For those who doesn't know, my BU email account won't work so email me at alau824@gmail.com!!! Will miss everyone very much...I'm a bit nervous but excited nonetheless...just dreading the plane ride...alright, must return to packing...hopefully I'll be done by 3am . | | |
| Yayyyy....I passed my road test yesterday......finally... I cant wait to get my over 21 license even though I'll be in Austrailia when it finally comes.... Crazy busy summer...volunteering is tiring and somewhat boring (though it's interesting sometimes, been bribed by an offduty police officer and saw someone with a broken leg jump on a stretcher...) and MCAT is killing me....I want it to be over...
